Well, it’s good to know Brian addressed the issue of the delayed reveal to some degree. Hopefully they work it out sooner than later. Really interested to see what is in this wave! Will be interesting to hear, after all this is cleared up, what the actual issue was if they can reveal that. The toy industry is a whacky place. Can we expect the reveal this week or at least before end of November, you think? I know nobody really knows haha, I’m just pumped for the reveal, what a tease!

Ok which one of you is elvis8batman on the Fwoosh Forum? What I posted here about what brian told me was not meant to be spread on other forum sites. I posted it so that those of you that were upset here had an understanding of whats going on. That info was NOT meant to be spread everywhere like you were the town crier. Since someone can’t be trusted to use their better judgment that what was shared with me in private should just stay here, this is the LAST time I share what i hear with the group.

The forums here are entirely public. It’s not really a fair expectation that news won’t travel around the open internet. I think we all really appreciate that you shared what you’d heard from Brian, and I doubt he would have told you if he didn’t expect it to eventually come out. But if you feel like you’ve betrayed his confidence, that’s kind of on you. [emoji53]

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Joa-O. This thread has just exploded in the past few days and I haven’t been able to keep up (especially when some folks are prone to unedited screeds that are all too easy to scroll past). I’ve deleted the post in question and left a warning in place for Alex Jones, but I’ll say it publicly too.
As a mod, I naturally overlook a little profanity here and there—we’re adults, and adults swear. But unnecessarily profane analogies and offensive statements like Alex Jones’s quoted above are not okay, not just on the forums but in general public discourse! Jokes that make light of AIDS are hurtful—they reignite the stigma of HIV in the gay community and reek of homophobia. Go there again, and expect consequences.

Big surprise WB is the culprit. They have never been our friend really.
I’m just speculating here but Maybe something in wave 5 could be a potential copywrite issue that WB doesn’t want to get sued over. I can remember with the MOTUC line Ninjor was a Mattel MOTU figure back in the day and Mattel used the name no problem. Mattel Just never chose to copywrite any of its MOTU characters names. Later when Mattel was about to release Ninjor in the MOTUC line They found that Power Rangers Had the copywrite to the name Ninjor for a character they made so Mattel had to Change the name in MOTUC to Ninja Warrior instead of Ninjor.
thats the problem with 80’s cartoon and toy Characters unless the company that owns franchise lic Copywrites the characters names and or Vehicles & playsets they run the risk of some other company putting out a product with one of those names that gets copywrited
I’m sure whatever the issue is will get resolved fairly quickly

I know this is a wave 5 thread but I have a question while we wait for more news: would you want to see more variants in the ReAction line?
Specifically, my mind is on stuff like the team in the snowsuits from ThunderCubs, or even the ThunderCubs themselves. Those are things that seem unlikely for Ultimates.

A note from my end. This is a place to speculate, disagree, agree, dream together and critique about all things ThunderCats (and other topics). While we’re all from different backgrounds, meaning political, religious, sexual orientation and unique upbringings, we live in an age where we all know to respect one another’s beliefs. There’s been so many movements these last few years alone, from #MeToo to #BlackLivesMatter, that it must be apparent to everyone who has access to the internet that it is important to allow others to live and let live, to let them be who they are and to not judge, and to believe in yourself. A comment was made, intended as a joke by a user, but in all fairness was made in poor taste. The user was warned, but reacted in a manner that is not acceptable on here. The matter has been addressed by the admins and the comments removed.
Let’s get back to enjoying the topic of Wave 5 (and whatever else we’re talking about in the other threads). Be respectful folks even if we disagree.
Now as far as I know the Party Wagon is going to be revealed this week. I think that is quite a big reveal. Brian did say that there will be quite a few big releases around the same time and that they couldn’t help it, so I am not sure if the PW and Wave 5 will both come out this week. Buyers may be hurt pocketwise if they have to fork out $400 (that’s my guess) for the PW and another $300 for Wave 5 all at once. I guess a lot will preorder through BBTS etc, so it may be more doable. My suggestion would be to keep TC open for 2 months. Collectors who just paid for SilverHawks AND GI Joe will be out of pocket this month already if these two follow in such close proximity. Keeping it open until mid January may be a good call and a great place to spend our Christmas bonuses on! Lol.

Do we really need to remove every comment by users who are banned. There are threads with reply comments still visible anyway and long strings of users talking to themselves. I get removing stuff that breaches conduct guidelines but expunging members entirely as has been done before seems over the top to me.
