Wow. We go from discussing wave 5 to a board member basically threatening murder to 2 others. Things escalate quickly around here.

Do we really need to remove every comment by users who are banned. There are threads with reply comments still visible anyway and long strings of users talking to themselves. I get removing stuff that breaches conduct guidelines but expunging members entirely as has been done before seems over the top to me.

Agreed! Just a technical oversight. Older posts are being undeleted as we speak. But he’s still banned.

Thank you to the moderators for addressing that. I missed the responses, but it seems that was for the best, didn’t expect death threats—talk about over the top.

Good news that the reveal will happen soon it seems. Hoping for Bengali, Mandora, Vultureman and a Lunatak! I’ve been waiting for Lunataks in toy form since the 80s.

The Line up is definitely chugging along. Only bengali kit & kat also snarf are needed to complete the Thundercats team.
Vulturman & Rataro to complete The Mutants team.

Everyone else we get is Gravy and who doesn’t love Gravy. ( Safari Joe, Hachiman, Mandora, Mongor, Willa, Nada, Capt. Shiner, Berserkers, Lunataks.Snarfer , Snarf Eggbert, Berbils. Never before seen characters in toy form Like Wizz-Ra, Mumm-Rana, Ta-She, Charr-Nin, Ratilla.

My guess on the delay is a potential trademark issue. If Vultureman is in wave 5, perhaps it’s the name which is the issue. His Loyal Subjects release was “Henchman” so maybe they’re trying to sort that out.

Oh be still my heart, if they do a lynxana… I love thundercat’s character designs, but lynxana’s has a very strong “comic” aesthetic combined with the thundercats’, which manages to elevate it in this case, i think. Liked the characterization, too - morally ambiguous space pirate mercenary.
“Electro-charger” copyright maybe? Maybe TOO broad to even copyright?
That vultureman clue makes me think he is most likely the fly in the ointment.

Lynxana is a great character, love her design. I hope they are able to do her and Stinger.

Good news! Saw the announcement just now too. Trust whatever caused the delay has been resolved.

Brian just shared an update in the FwooshCast. The hold up seems to have been a weapon. The matter has been resolved now and we’re on for next week’s reveal!

Excellent, glad to hear it isn’t some overreaction to trying to “own” a toy figure name which is one of the dumbest parts of US law. All they have to do is not claim trademark.

I wonder if along with the reveal we will find out what exactly the weapon issue was. I’m very curious.

It’s so interesting - I watched the video, and Brian said it’s something that we wouldn’t guess. I was suspecting Safari Joe’s gun, but that seems to obvious now. Maybe Mandora’s soap gun thingie?

Now that we officially know that Lion-O has been retooled and will get pinless elbows and knees (FwooshCast), I hope Super7 will address the mid body proportion issue, because the huge abodmen gap, inherited from the Mattel figure is still there in the new one, maybe they made a digital scan of that same poorly made piece instead sculpt a new correct one like the 4H prototype, that makes it keep the odd proportions. I think a couple of millimeters make a great difference.

Today is the day wave 5 should drop. I’m really looking forward to finally seeing who’s in this wave and the preorder.
