Personally I’d much rather get a sculpted cape than an old man Jaga head.
Plus I see people pointing out that the fabric cape wont look good on the translucent spirit of Jaga figure.
They’ll probably get three figures out the tool as they’ll inevitably do vintage toy repaint as well, so definitely worth going the extra mile and spending the money on tooling the awesome sculpted cape.

Wave 3 Pre-order has gone live, along with preview videos from Brian on each page. There’s some new information sprinkled throughout the video! I’ve tried to collect it all below.

Jaga
[ul]
[li]A soft goods cape, reinforced by wire. It’s unclear if this replaces the sculpted cape or is an additional accessory.[/li][li]A second alternate head, described as an “old man”. I’m guessing that’s just Jaga with a longer beard, as we saw him in “Exodus” just before he died.[/li][li]One more new accessory—a translucent magical cloth, also from “Exodus”.[/li][/ul]
Cheetara

[li]Paint colors on the arms look to have been corrected. That’s the only difference I can spot—the face sculpt looks unchanged.[/li][li]Brian mistakenly calls the Locket of Lies a communicator. It’s definitely the Locket of Lies.[/li][/ul]
Slithe

Is it discussed that the axe from Jackalman that ia supposedly for Slithe is a variant axe now? Slithe will come with a different axe based on Slithe promotional photos.

I’m just curious to know.

I am beyond thrilled to see Captain Cracker included in Wave 3!! I didn’t expect to see him this early in the line. That being said, I think Slithe looks the best out of all the figures in Wave 3. Captain Cracker doesn’t look bad in my opinion but he is just a bit off. I am not complaining though. I’m ecstatic to be getting a new Captain Cracker figure. This line is growing on me. I know no company would be able to put out figures that everyone loves and considers perfect but I am enjoying what I am seeing so far. That’s not to say that there are things that could be tweaked and changed to be better. The prices are still my only real issue with them.

I received an email on April 1st from Super 7 that said “the figures are expected to leave the factory in May and Pre-Order customers can expect to have them in their hands in June.” I didnt pre-order them through Super 7 but i did through BBTS so i have no idea when they will end up having them or shipping them.
They said this about Wave 2 - “We are ahead of schedule now and will deliver these incredible figures before the end of the year and potentially even early!”

Per PixelDan’s interview with Bryan Flynn - Jaga will also now have the younger head. And they are looking into the possibility of including the hard goods cape.

So, wave 1 in June, reaction in July. Sweet, and I have something vintage coming from a friend (hopefully a 2-3 somethings).
Hm … might be time to look at another custom piece.

Personally, I have interest in Crystar, Blackstar, Bravestarr, a John Buscema Conan, John Carter of Mars, Dungeons & Dragons ( the toy line ), Tarzan, Zorro, and numerous other properties/characters.

Anyone else who watched the Bryan Flynn interview with Pixel Dan get the vibe that Super7 doing a Thundertank is very possible and likely?? Like it may be a ways off but seems like it is definitely in the future plans.

Thunder Tank will be given attention only if Snake Mountain is on the hands of those who ordered and ONLY if it gets a very POSITIVE reception.

So in advance let me say this to Snake Mountain soon to be owners, please provide the good feedback and DO NOT let the loud few (who may not even own the Mountain) be the prevailing feedback Super7 gets. I see those scenarios before and really, the smallest issue sometimes gets the biggest highlight. This time the fate of Thunder Tank might be the one that suffers.

Looks like Brian is going to do more Ask Me Anythings so if you want Jaga to have the sculpted cape as well like they’re doing with Splinter then then send him a question politely asking for it to be included. The more requests they get for this the more chance we have of it being included.
