BBTS Customer Service told me they fill the separate figure orders first because they will also receive full set orders from the factory.

Welp. Looks like Mumm-Ra is now in my Pile of Loot. Time to ship my Waves 2, 3 & 4 altogether now. Canāt wait for a really big box that gonna arrive to me. :):whistle:cool

Just got the BBTS email saying my wave 2 set of four figures will be processing soon. This is great news now I can ship both waves 2 and 4 together in one shipping box.
Wave 2 set of 4 hit my pile of loot today so I shipped both waves 2 & 4 and Chose FedEx Home Delivery. Both waves are now processing :tygra:monkian:mummra:mamutt
Just got my Tygra and I am pissed. Thereās a bunch of paint missing from the Thundercats symbol on his chest.
Was it from BBTS? if yes Take pictures and contact CS they will replace it, but will want the old one back
It is from BBTS. I would send it back, but with all the other examples of qc problems related to Tygra that have been seen, I am worried about getting one of those with the brown stains everywhere. So I think I will just use a small amount of black paint and a very fine paint brush and touch up the TC symbol myself.
Finally got these figures in hand. I love Mumm-ra. Tygra is a big let down for me, sorry to say. I need to vent haha. Tygra is my second favorite Thundercat after Lion-O and this figure is just not capturing the vibe. Very disappointing for me personally. I think his sculpt is wonky, heās too bulky and has weird proportions. Looks bigger than Lion-O and Panthro too. The color scheme doesnāt sit right. Initially I was kind of digging it when I saw early reviews, felt like the old LJN figure. However, seeing it in person and on my shelf he is just not jiving next to the other cats. My two cents. Cool to have a Tygra figure in 2022 but I would not mind seeing Super7 go back to the drawing board on this figure. It seems clear that sculpts have improved in recent waves and the renders for forthcoming waves look really solid. I think these early wave figures got lost in the shuffle a bit and can be a bit lacking. So, yes, Iāll take a Tygra 2.0, please.

Just saw Fwooshās latest Brian Flynn interview that includes Wave 2 issues. Seems Super7 canāt do anything about the QC issues weāre getting for this wave (Tygra, Grune, Pumyra) because they eventually cannot complain with the factory that made these for ended contract reasons. Brian seems to hint that we should fix these issues ourselves and he may probably not gonna make replacement parts nor produce a fixed 2.0 of this wave.

Just got my wave 2. I think Mumm-Ra is done really well. He looks super cool in person, and is definitely the standout figure for me and I really canāt voice any solid complaints about him.
Pumyra is pretty good too. I just wish she wasnāt so tall and that her belt was removable. I have her posed to try to make her look shorter than the rest of the Cats.
My Grune has some defect with his left ankle. The joint was installed incorrectly and his ankle will not bend like it should. It is impossible to even get him to stand up. Like, itās way off, and I donāt see how itās possible that the factory didnāt notice it. I have BBTS sending me a replacement. His hips are also a bit of an eyesore like others have mentioned, but heās still pretty cool overall.
My Tygra also has that crack in the center of his neck that others have posted about. There must have been something at the factory that caused this for it to be so consistent. Iāve got BBTS sending me a replacement on him as well. Other than that, he does look pretty good in person, but I wouldāve preferred the cartoon accurate colors (not animation cell) and the elbow pad. Is it perfect? No, but itās the best Tygra Iāve ever had by far and I donāt want to let some minor nitpicks to ruin the line for me. With that said, I would probably purchase a Tygra 2.0 with the correct colors if one was made available.
Iām happy that Super7 gave this factory the boot, and I donāt think weāll see as many issues on future waves now that they arenāt produced there anymore.
Maybe Amaro or someone can make an elbow pad for Tygra? Thatās the most glaring issue for the entire wave. Since S7 doesnāt seem to think itās an issue (which it is and if they corrected issues from wave 1 this too should be corrected). I understand them wanting to break ties with the factory, so make the corrections at the new one? Whatever. Disappointing.
Maybe we will get lucky and S7 will do reissues at some point that take another stab at these like with wave 1, but I doubt it. I think we can all probably agree weād like a whole new take on Tygra. Thatās probably our best shot.

Nothing linked above is mine, just saw talk about making elbow pads and remembered this one. Didnāt want to limit the link to just that though - there are a couple other neat thundercats items in there.
Iāve ordered from shapeways twice (for 1/6 scale customs) and iāve been very pleased with the relative timeliness and quality of what they turn out. However, as with anything else custom made, they are pricey.
Man, that is pretty tempting actually. It ends up being half the price of an actual figure though. With all the delays and issues, I donāt think itās unreasonable for S7 to issue another booster pack, or just throw an elbow pad in with Cheetara or Bengali or something.
Dremel-ed the bājesus out of pumyraās legs and inside the heads to shorten the neck, was able to lightly sand a drip of āboots paintā off her leg.
Iām lucky the only problem with tygra was the tiger stripes missing paint here and there on his arm and the bottom of a few toes left unpainted. Going to try to give his saturated orange parts a grey wash too. His poopy spots donāt bother me much.
Again got lucky with mumm-ra too - only a splotch of the red chest emblem running off onto the blue skin, and hips loose. I know others have had things much worse or missing or broken.
All in all happy to have them. Not happy with them, but itās been kind of fun figuring out how to get the figures i expected out of the ones i got.
After bengali and vultureman iām getting off this wacky ride though.
