Brian and the Super7 team are internally discussing the wave 2 issues, which might be causing the delay in shipping. They have them, but who knows if they are going to offer a second booster pack or just out right remake wave 2 at their factory They are seeing all the complaints on line about wave 2 and are going to be addressing our concerns. Then again they might ship wave 2. Personally if they chose not to ship wave 2 and remake the wave at the super 7 factory I wouldn’t mind waiting another Six to eight months.
what you suggest is crazy my friend!! …you really think that they will make them a new in 6-8 months??? we are still waiting for bloody cheetara!! and she is only one figure not 4!!
Mumm-Ra is the only one who doesn’t have some flaw, but seeing Toy Bro’s pics of Grune I really don’t have a problem with him and his hips personally. For Pumyra, her only flaw to me is the belt being glued. For Tygra it is the missing elbow pad and miscolored bands on the other arm. His flesh tone is probably a bit too yellow as well but not enough that it would bother me that greatly. I just don’t see the need to redo the wave and I can’t see how S7 can keep doing things like that and decide to keep making TCats figures. This isn’t charity.

i canceled grune…i really don’t like the hips…yeah just send the wave to customers call it a day and show wave 6 to stir the excitement and move on!
of course its no charity!! we pay a lot of money for these figures and the prices just getting higher…and higher getting the expectations! neca makes great figures right now at a much lower price…and the quality is there!!
I’m not saying they don’t have an obligation to deliver, I’m saying the reality is when they can’t make a profit this line will end no matter the reason.
I haven’t heard of S7 ending a toy line unless the license was picked up by the original distributor/company/owner. I’m not sure how profitable their ReActions line are but they never end it, right?
I just recieved Wave 2. So far I have opened Mumm-Ra and Tygra. Mumm-Ra is good, as with wave 4 there are some messy paint apps but he’s a solid effort. He’s too blue for my liking but this is a common issue across Mumm-Ra items.
Tygra however is a mess. Paint apps are sloppy as hell, there is daylight between joints that shouldn’t have them. He also looks like he made a mess in his Thunderpants.

I’m sending the figure back for a refund here. The seller said the issues are representative of the entire stock. He also said that Super 7 has a 100% no replacement for paint defects policy, so I won’t waste my time.

outs he is really a mess…worse than i expected …and that’s why you should never trust a reviewer of free figures these days…shame on them because the issues were there …and they never not even one noticed the sloppy paint and faults on him in a serious way
Those paints applications are terrible. Super 7 should be apologising to all the cutomers that bought these figures.
Seems aside from Mumm-Ra’s colours he is the best of a bad bunch of figures.
Paint will be different on every figure. Obviously the one in Toy Bro’s pics didn’t have all of these issues. I’m not saying that’s an OK Tygra, the back is bad. But outside of things like wrong colors or missing or incorrect ops that will exist on every figure, again you are going to see small paint issues on mass produced toys, especially when it comes to finite detail. That’s why Super7 has that policy. You have to come to terms with this to a certain degree, it’s part of collecting action figures.
It is not going to be helpful to focus on every tiny flaw of every individual figure. There is a balance to be had that in my opinion is definitely not being struck by all of us, even if the tact is there.
You may be the only person (other than the toy reviewers) to actually show pictures that you already received your orders. No one is still sharing their received Waves yet in the internet, which was weird.

I collect toys, I have a lot of toys, some of them are made by Super 7, some not. I hold my expectations on a figure to the general standard of the company and based on price.
When I was getting the Bandai 8 inch figures by the case, many of them had misprinted eyes way up the forehead. This was not acceptable in general, but since I bought them for customs and at clearance price it was not an issue. My main display figure was fine and they were 3 pounds each. I set my expectations to the price paid.
I have several NECA TMNT toon figures, I never had any QC issues with them. You can get a 2 pack for the price of one Super 7 Ultimates.
Waves 2 and 4 have a bunch of issues paint wise for me, did I mention them for every figure? No, that would be pointless. I do expect better since my Super 7 Muckman has insane paint apps and he is absolutely perfect. They set an expectation of quality for me there and the Thundercats all fall short of it.
Did I mention it took an hour of my time, a dremel and a set of donor thighs to fix Grune’s legs? That’s what I had to do to get this thing looking how it should. The Thundercats logo on the extra chest looks like it was traced by a toddler. Did I mention that? Is that a minor issue? Mumm-Ra already has stress marks on the upper delt from raising his arms, they won’t go past 45 degrees without colliding with the torso, is that worth mentioning? He also has a crazy blue mottled splotch on one thigh.
At what point should I consider these factors to be more than nitpicking and see them for the sloppy consequences of low effort. If the Wave 2 factory could not deliver a proper product they should not have used them.
My first thought when I get a figure should not be “how can I fix this?”

I understand your frustration, but we need to remember wave 2 was made at Mattel’s factory and they really have shown that they just don’t care. From a years delay due to them putting other toy lines before the Super7 order to the way the figure’s were assembled and the sloppy paint application’s
