The comparison being made is to the factory test shot, the grey plastic figure with articulation. Not the painted resin prototype from way back.

My comments were based on the pictures you were posing in multiple forum groups and You did not post the Grey Grune Test shot you were only posting images of the prototype saying it should look like this. You also didnāt posted this picture of the Tygra arm. So donāt be insulting by saying If you arenāt going to contribute anything useful, please donāt answer. I commented on what I have seen you post in forum groups simple as that.
I just Emailed Super7 showing this plastic test shot and a picture of the final figure we have seen on line, asking them what changed at the Factory from the grey plastic test shot which is a tooled working unpainted toy compared to the final figure that was shipped from the factory showing the exposed ball hip joints?
Sadly, I cancelled my Grune preorder after seeing toyaddict26ās photos. 
Still hoping maybe itās just how toyaddict26 photographed and lighted the Ultimates Tygra thatās bothering me. Will check it once I get an actual hold of it. Wonāt cancel Tygra coz itās the ONLY Tygra we get that MattyCollector didnāt have. Just hoping my friends would not have a āWTF?ā same reaction if his face is really reddish. :whistle I have no comment for the Mummra Ever-Living previews. Also hoping Pumyra isnāt as dark as those pics.

Reminds me of those photographs of the Super 7 Filmation Teela figure where the people posed shields and swords to cover the missassembled hipsā¦but that figure face paint was also really messed up.

good news are that we got wave 3 and 4 and they are absolutely amazing ā¦so its a just wave 2 bad qc ā¦and tygra was in itā¦ sighā¦
I really donāt have any issue with how Grune looks. I consider myself pretty picky and it just doesnāt bother me. Iād perfer the waist was brown and not black but otherwise donāt mind the structure, I think especially once posed it wonāt even be a thought.
Mumm-Ra looks really, really fantastic. The cape alone is going to be a ton of fun. I would love to get some energy effects at some point for his hands. That would make him totally perfect to me.
Still havenāt seen the pics of Pumyra so canāt comment there.
Tygra is definitely disappointing though. The arm band is gone, some colors are off (the other arm band) and his abs on at least one one copy are missing the paint around the strap that connects to his shorts. I already think the sculpt looks pretty doofy for Tygra and that he is the worst sculpt they have done. So this is a bad release and I feel like they would benefit from doing a totally new Tygra down the road. This release is likely to do some significant damage to this line and our ability to see it continue. We will see what they have to say, but they charge the highest prices, the wait was the longest, and the figure in the end is significantly flawed. No sugarcoating it.
there is a video in youtube from powercon 2021 with thundercats samplesā¦in front of tygra there is a label saying āā not final sample incorrect forearmāā and i am just curious of what happened later onā¦because obviously they knew the mistake and supposed to fix itā¦
That was the forearm. They did indeed fix the forearm, but now for some reason the upper arm has the wrong sculpt. Itās bizarre.
There was also a preview photo of boxed Wave 2 set sans Tygraās elbow pad that were perfectly good-to-go colors and they said that that is the final production samples ready to ship. I donāt even know why the colors of all of them changed when it reached toyaddict26 on hand.
Aside of Toyaddict26 getting his I havenāt heard of anyone else getting wave 2. Even ToyBro hasnāt gotten them. No one has really done an actual review on the wave2 figures yet.
Iām still waiting for BBTS to get their wave 2 and wave 4 stock so that my preorders can be filled.

Thundercats wave 2 Customers want to know what happend to the Grune
figure as the final packaged figure differs at the hips from the grey
plastic factory test shot.
Thundercat wave 2 customers are not liking what they are seeing in the
final figure in the hips, the ball joints are completely exposed and it
was not like that in the factory plastic test shot.
Brian needs to publicly address this.

Lot of paint issues.
Ironically even with the colour issues and wrong bicep he actually looks a lot better than the Lion-O, Panthro, Wilykit and Wilykat figures. Hopefully if Super 7 redo those figures they use better more accurate colours and fix those awful crotch designs to improve the articulation.

Good to see the one missing the abs paint is not the norm. Tygra is not as bad as I thought. If he had his arm pad and his other band colored correctly Iād be perfectly satisfied with him.
You are always going to have some minor paint issues with painted figures from time to time. Itās unavoidable.

Hello, I am writing in regards to the Thundercats wave 2 thatās set to be released soon. There are numerous advance pictures and videos showing the figures that are quite a ways off from what was originally shown in the initial specs. I understand that some differences are too be expected but the colors on Tygra, face on Pumyra, and face/legs on Grune are really far off. Iām a collector of all the figures in this series, but it is clear that wave 2 in particular has really suffered in quality due to the factory they were being produced at. Itās already been a long wait to get these figures in hand, but I think I speak for most collectors in saying that a longer wait to receive the high quality figures as represented in the original specs would be preferred over receiving these. There also appear to be issues with the paint jobs, scratching, etc. I hope that you all will take this into consideration and possibly produce this wave again at a dependable factory. I plan on collecting this wave to its full extent, and it would be a shame to have these ones stand out as not as quality and Ultimate as the rest of the line.
One possible solution would be for them to send us the correct piece to replace manually.
Iām curious as to how Brian Flynn will explain this.
