well they do usually have white below the nose and around the mouth and eyes. If they wanted it to really be tiger-like the orange would go from the black stripes on his cheeks to his nose leaving the white below the nose and around his eyes.
And after trying that in Photoshop to see what it would look like I very much prefer the white face.

I agree; that’s one of the few things I don’t like about the new Tygra.
HUH! That’s a nice bit of photoshop work Balgus, I persoanlly really prefer what u did there, seems more in line with original Tygra and now comparing the two I definately think the new Tygra’s face is too white!..WHAT HAVE U DONE! LOL

Do you think Tygra will be a player? Do you think he’ll have a bit of an ego? Because in some of these captures I’ve seen of him, he’s got this kind of cokcy, sexy smile. He strikes me as if he’s going to be a ladies man and a player, not someone who’s interested in any long-term relationship. Talking about love triangles. I am envisioning Cheetara coming on the scene and Tygra is interested in her but she sees his fakeness and just isn’t interested but rather finds the young and full of angst Lion-O much more attractive.

Aye. I’m just theorizing though. Looking at the images of Tygra in the trailer, I’m thinking he looks like he might have a bit of an ego. He strikes me as having a very high confidence level and perhaps Cheetara is attracted to both - Tygra, the one who is confident and sure of himself, older, more mature and also Lion-O, young, unsure of himself but brave and unwavering in his pursuit. Personally, I could do without cartoon romance drama. 
I’ve been looking at the screencap image of Tygra standing in front of a cave with Lion-O and Snarf in the middle and Cheetara on the other side. I am convinced those are not flaps to boots that he’s wearing, he doesn’t look like he’s wearing boots,he looks like he’s wearing socks on his shins. It reminds me more of a baseball uniform where the pants come just below the knees and have elastic. The flaps are the same color as his pants, not his socks. Maybe that’s an asian style or anime style, but it really makes me think of a court jester. Hopefully this isn’t a foreshadow that Tygra is going to be a clown. I mean, he already has the white face paint… ok, lame joke.
Well, it would make sense if Tygra wore Asian clothes, considering tigers live in Asia
Maybe this time they’re relating more the TCs with the characteristics of the felines they’re based on.
How do clothes relate to feline characteristics? I’ll just say that if I tried to put clothes on my cat, the results would not be pretty.
As in clothing similar to what is worn in the geographic area that the cat species originates in.

I don’t see how that would work. Lions are from Africa and I believe Cheetahs as well, but I don’t think the clothes they wear look African. Lion-O essentially has the same tank top he wore in the original, although now he’s wearing capri level pants that look more like sweat pants to me than anything. I would have been fine if they gave him a different looking top as well. Cheetara is essentially wearing a bra with sleeves and shorts? I really can’t figure out what all is going on with her legs. Her dress actually makes me think more Australian Outback, but I don’t think that’s where Cheetahs are from. And of course Wilykit also wears a tanktop.
It would make more sense if Lion’s and Tygras clothes look similar considering they live in the same place. Lion’s pants are similar to Tygra’s being that the both have these capri length pants that are tight around their legs just below their knees with tall socks and shoes, unless those are supposed to be leather boots that fit to their legs. 
And I think Panthro is still wearing spiky suspenders without a shirt, but this time he has pants instead of a speedo. Don’t know what culture that would be.
I just think people read way too much into things sometimes.
And Cheetara’s top is absolutely not just a bra with sleeves. It is a shirt. It has a collar, short sleeves and goes halfway down her ribs for pete’s sake. It’s no more revealing than a tank top. People are acting like she’s running around in a bikini.
Which would probably be more than what Panthro ran around in, in the original.
It will be nice when the show actually starts to give us more interesting topics to discuss than what they wear.

Honestly the only thing I really dislike in the new designs is Panthro’s hair. Everything else I might have disliked at first I’m ok with now.
