After escaping their destroyed city with the Sword of Omens, the team encounters the Fishmen, who sail the quicksand sea in search of a massive sea creature. The ThunderCats’ quest is to find the Book of Omens … but Lion-O is more interested in revenge on Mumm-Ra.

Looks like the kids’ll be part of the team in this episode. Yay! The team is coming more and more together.
Lion-O bent on revenge. I imagine this will be a continuing plot for him to let go of his anger (stop his path to the dark side) so that he can face Mumm-Ra and not have anger clouding his judgment and making him more vulnerable.
It sounds like the captain of the Fishman is like Captain Ahab and the massive sea creature is like Moby Dick. Lion-O will probably learn from the experience not to be obsessed with revenge and continue the journey with a clear mind.
I like that Tygra carries Snarf over his head and shoulders. Don’t know if Snarf jumpe there against Tygra’s will or he decided to do it, but by the end he carries him.
Well last time we saw Kit/Kat they were still dressed in their street Urchin clothes and running away from an explosion. If those pictures are indeed from the next episode, we must at least see them meet the thundercats and then they and Tygra get new outfits… I think we may get some small bits of the over-all story arc mixed in with the stand-alone stories.
I keep thinking the same thing. I’ve been thinking of letting my DVR record a month’s worth of episodes and then just have a monthly viewing party instead of weekly 20+ minute snippits.
I feel like I will always walk away each week feeling like there wasn’t enough story. I’d rather have 2 or 3 episodes to watch each sitting to really feel satisfied.
I guess I’ve been spoiled with being able to watch a bunch of episodes of a series at once on netflix/DVD/Blu Ray.
Yeah, but it’s somewhat understandable given what he’s been through.
The departure from Thundera and this Ahab-esque storyline seems like a lot to fit into 20 minutes. Hopefully the acquiring of new gear isn’t handled off screen.
I am becoming a kitten fan. I never thought this day would come! New episode looks great! Sadly I wont be able to watch it untill I go over a frineds house who is recording it for me. Lack of cable n’ whatnot here.
