If that were the case he would have been prohibited from even saying the show is on “Hiatus”. DN seems like a good guy and he’s one hell of an artist but but the cryptic commentary is frustrating. Posting one thing and then linking it over to another that contradicts the first is just aggravating, especially to people who want to show their support.
I just noticed the (sadness) emoticon Norton has in his response to the question of cancellation, where he links back to his last journal entry. I guess it could mean the network made its decision already.
I wish Cartoon Network had at least done a little more to support ThunderCats. It’s like it just gave up after only airing the first half of the season. Sure it got a better timeslot, but I guess they put it there because they moved all their other action shows to Saturday mornings. Is it true that the ratings doubled after the move, at least with kids? That should have proved something.
I hope that it manages to do well internationally. I hope the DVDs can sell well, so that maybe ThunderCats can come back sooner than later. I just want this story to have a real conclusion.
If this show gets cancelled/canned/discontinued, I am pretty much done with CN. They’ve hurt me too many times, ha ha.
There’s no way that any of us should believe the show is cancelled, because we need to pull out all the stops to keep that from happening.
That’s just positive thinking but we can’t deny what’s infront of us.
This is a shame, i think the show was mediocre but i like overall story, world and characters really much. Feels just like a waste when we dont even get a proper ending.
EDIT: Just speculation but maybe it was the last work Dan was gonna do for Thundercats? They might replace him (dont know why), also how can they decide this before the final volume of the DVDs are out yet? Maybe if everyone could buy it on DVD this might be do able. WE have the power and WE GOTTA USE IT!
EDIT 2: Also the game is coming at the end of september, are they really jsut gonna cancell the show when the last dvd has not been released and not even the GAME? Hopefully it’s not decided and the game sells and dvds might help.

Me too. Between Teen Titans, Megas XLR, and a few other good shows disappearing without any word, all my faith in them is gone. This is really off-topic, but the new Teen Titans series is just a slap in the face to any fan because it won’t even resolve the cliffhanger the last season had. But anyway, I haven’t watch CN since the finale and don’t plan to unless the show comes back.
This is F**king great… My dam week has been horrible enough with the power going out on and off with dam storms. Mtv geek lied. It got my hopes up way too much.

I am pretty done with with CN too. New teen Titans is going into chibi world.I don’t know how to feel about that but it looks cool. Basically, i am going to get netflix here because i am pretty much done with cable. Hopefully, in the future, maybe CN will come up with something almost as awesome as Thundercats. But I have only an inch of faith in that stupid network.
Mine is completely gone. I’ll watch Young Justice (the only good show left) on the internet when it comes back. I know my views don’t count towards the ratings, but I still don’t want to give them the gratification of my views.

Yeah maybe. Hopefully, the news will spread and fans will be in so much rage they would knock some sense into CN. But CN will just blow them right over. I wonder what is going to happen to the lair.

Shown Gold Lion’s footage on a typology site. I believe I got a couple of people to sign the petition after my short blog rant about it being cancelled. Yeah, will have an army of NFs and NTs wanting to save the show.

I’m with Rizefall. He should just SAY IT’S CANCELLED (or not). This hinting and being cryptic thing is getting old.
Dont forget THE GAME and the LAST DVD. Why give it a release and everything if the show is already gone? Hopefully if the DVDs and the game sells well maybe MAYBE the show will come back!
It worked for Family Guy, so why not this show? I’m just going to remain hopeful, but not unrealistically so.
Looks like the Ds game is still coming out in september.
