Tygra Fan Thread

In the Wildstorm comics, Cheetara and Tygra had a pair of twins named Wilycat and Wilycub (it’s amazing that the writer couldn’t give them more original names). I don’t think the comics are regarded as canon in the OS though.

Here’s a question…

Do you think it’s possible they flipped Tygra and Cheetara in this series and it’s actually Tygra (if they introduce his Jedi mind tricks) that’s going to have the trouble accepting his powers?

Maybe not having trouble accepting them, but with the way he embraced technology once he found out that it exists, I could easily see it going something like this:

Tygra: “Mwahaha, my new powers are awesome! I’ll use them in battle!” overexerts himself, ends up bedridden for a week “I’ll never do that again…”

And then he could become unwilling to use them unless it was absolutely necessary, perhaps adding a new strain on his and Lion-O’s relationship if Lion-O tries to order him to use them.

I’m kind of betting that way to a certain point.

I thought it might be interesting if they pull Tygra’s mind powers in tied in to his parents death. Death is every living things greatest fear. And fear is how Tygra latched on to people. If his powers kicked in with the shock of his parents death or something.

I could see Tygra avoiding and refusing to use them even if Lion-o orders him too.

There’s a small sketch of him in a pose that looks a bit like it on his character style sheet. That’s probably what you’ve heard people talk about.

If they feel the need (nd I hope they do) to have individual theme songs for the charcters, I pray they don’t ruin the OS Tygra theme which I thought was EPIC!!
