I think Balgus has a point. Tygus was not necessarily racist (maybe he was though, we don’t know for sure)… being under Mumm-Ra’s dominion, he might haver been afraid of him, or maybe he was ambitious, or just a selfish guy who looked for him own safty rather than for the others’, I don’t know.
I don’t think Tygra has been show to be racist. I think he was influenced by Cklaudus’ (and the general thunderan) point of view. Had he been racist, he wouldn’t have helped the fish men or the petalars, I think.
As for Tygra’s look, I’m with BoloWhip. I think Tygus would have been a great design for Tygra (maybe a bit younger), but Tygus looks a lot more like OS Tygra, than the NS Tygra himself.
Hmmmm as I said previously, despite the OS I think that ability should have been a natural one for him, smilar to Panthro’s natural strength n chetara’s speed. Still I suppose u could argue it’s more true to the OS…and I would think of it as more magical (maybe taught by Jaga) rather than tech if the whip doesn’t directly cause it.
As i said, I think the invisibility was a natural thing for him. Also, in that introduction that never aired (you can find it in YouTube), when presenting the TCs, the voice in off says “Jaga the wise, Tygra the invisible, Cheetara the quick…”, as if it was a natural thing of him.
Well in this new series clearly he needs the whip (according to the blog thing) to turn invisible even though it’s not the whip itself that causes it…bit weird really!
Wow, I had never seen that. Totally never expected that, and it I like it a lot better.
THen again, I can go around singing the intro that we all know. At work…to the annoyance of my co-workers who now how to hear about Tygra this and Tygra that.
Yeah its really surprising to see Tygra the cat who didn’t believe in tech, is now actually showing interest and may even have more aptitude for it than Lion-O.
I see Architect/ Scientist Tygra on the horizon.
Yeah the 9 Section would give the whip a more modern look to it. I do love what this artist did with the whip.
I was more shocked that Pathro would let him even TOUCH his lady much less let Tygra try to hook something new up in to her. Which probably says alot about where Pathro feels Tygra’s skills are. And I really don’t think hooking the book up was Pathro’s idea. I really got the impression it was all Tygra’s.
I got the feeling last week with how Tygra was handling that laser gun he had taken it apart and learned how every inch of it works.
With a lot of thrown in explosions.

WOW! quality picture there! If the armour/suit had a slightly different design (had the asymetric shoulder strap Tygra has in OS or 1st Eps of NS) then I’d way prefer him to look like that! …as for the whip, u can prob tell from my name I don’t wanna replace the whip though the handles on the whip in the pic look like they would make nice throwing daggers/axes!!! (better then a stupid laser )
