Lion-O was a prince. I doubt seriously that he was ever actually bullied. Unless Tygra himself was the one who did it.

I wondered that myself… in some mythologies (not sure if some real countries as well), that would have been punished with exile, or even death.
Yeah I definitely wondered about that. Especially after the muggers at the beginning ran like crazy after learning he was the prince.
That reminds me…that scene where Tygra did use the whip should have had fire all over the place, not just a line of a shockwave…hope they don’t scrap that ability of the whip

In today’s panel at Thundercon Matt Mercer was just talking about the gun Tygra has now and how it actually reflects how Tygra is a little darker and comes from a darker place than the other Thundercats and that he used it a lot early on because it was like a “new toy” thing, but later on he’ll use the gun and the whip together instead of favoring one over the other.
Interesting…hints at maybe a really rough upbringing or a side to Tygra we haven’t seen yet??

Don’t worry too much. He also said that if he thought that they went too far or something he would’ve stopped voicing him cause he’s a big fan of the old show too and he doesn’t want it ruined any more than we do.
Considering I don’t know Matthew Mercer for me to even begin to try and understand his definiton of “went too far or something,” it doesn’t really give me any comfort.
I wonder what he meant “comes from a darker place.”
