I did not…yet. But I asked BBTS if their preorder is still open and it currently it still is and that’s the last choice I will be doing. IF I get my pay before it closes. (Damn you, Lenten Week for delaying my pay!)

Did they have to reach a certain number for the Thundertank to go into production?
I got one. I signed up for a credit card that if you spend $500 or more, you get $200 cash back. So I did that, and now I’m cancelling the card.

I pulled the trigger on the tank. Seems like it was a thundercats dry spell for the longest time and now we have all sorts going on all at once to boot. 3 Waves of figures outstanding that can hit us anything from now till next year, Reaction Wave 2, and the puma sneakers, ugh. So I went with Sideshow for their payment plan - tho I do dread what they are going to hit me with shipping when the time comes.

Welp. There you go. This is the impact of the delayed Waves, affecting the Thundertank. I may be expecting this to ship maybe January 2023 if my prediction is right. I probably will cancel my preorder out if it doesn’t reach me by June next year.
No please don’t cancel it. You will deeply regret it. At times I wanted to cancel my Snake Mountain due to the pandemic and salary cuts, but it is soooooooo worth having it!!! It is my proudest piece to own. The tank may top it coz it’s TC tho…

It’s full of gaps and they didn’t fix the sculpt to make it more accurate.
The sheer size of the thing is impressive. I have some nits, but overall i’m pretty impressed with it.

So Sideshow is reopening their preorder and the last layaway payment is September this year.
Does this mean the July possible arrival has been moved again?!? Bah humbug! I am sooo initially right about my 2023 prediction now.
Allegedly delays are not due to the factories but Super 7 waiting until quotas from retailers are reached before starting production so that is probably why Sideshow have reopened pre-orders. BigBaTtoyStore also have it still available for pre-order.
