That seems a bit odd 
So the magazine is gonna run without a comic strip? Doesn’t the comic make up half of the magazine? 
beats me. but that’s the colorist on the comic, so she’d know I guess.
Picked up issue 8 at the weekend. Glad to see another two-part story but there seemed to be less number comic pages in this issue, I haven’t actually checked with a previous issue to be sure but it just felt more filler and less comic this issue.
I did really like the design of the Crocodile Men.
Hope the next issue is not the last issue with a comic in, I was hoping to see characters from later in the series like Jackalman and Monkian at some point. But if it is and it runs until the end of the year with out a comic then that should only be one issue without a comic right, then were assuming is being cancelled after that so only two more issue in total.
Man I got issue 9 today and the sweet looking ThunderTank Shooter toy that was shown in the last issue as coming with this issue is not included :lionomad: Instead we’ve got the lame Thunder Blade which already came with a previous issue :lionomad: Look like issue 10 will also be coming with one of three toys all of which have come with previous issues.
On the upside at least we’re getting an issue 10 I just hope it includes a comic.
I’ve been buying the issues for the site, but I still need to read the comic before I send them over to Chris. I notice the toy is still being cellotaped to the magazine though! :rolleyes:
I wonder how long the comic will continue now it seems the TV show is over? I’m guessing the cartoon will be done airing by January on Channel 5, so maybe December will be the final issue?
I contacted Panini on Facebook and they said the Thundertank wasn’t included due to a delay with the delivery. However they’ve assured me that issue 11 will come with the Thundertank.

I don’t suppose they confirmed or denied the rumour that the issue 11 or 12 will be the last issue did they?
Picked up issue #10 in my dinner hour today and looks like the rumour were true as there is no comic in it, its basically an activity book :lionomad:
It says the next issue is out on Dec 27th and while it doesn’t say it the last issue, if the report that it would run without a comic for that last few issues was true then it is probably true that it will run until the end of the year as well.
I would really for the magazine’s comics to be replublished as a trade paperback.
Just got an email from panini UK.
10th January, UK issue 11 Thundercats Magazine is due for release.
This is to be the LAST MAGAZINE! (as it has been discontinued)
They also sent me through the post a free bandai mummra figure and issue 9 for my son who submitted artwork.:mummra:

I looked for issue 11 earlier this week with issue 10 saying the next issue would be out on 27th December… until I saw on a subscription site that it’s now out on the 10th January.
Unfortunate, but pretty much expected as has been said.
I really would like for the comics within the magazine to be published as a trade paperback.
I would be interested in picking that up if it were produced.
When will the series show up in the USA?
Yeah I’ve also been checking for #11 every time I’ve been into town as I was expecting it on the 27th. I’m not really fussed about it without the comic but will get it just to have the complete series.
Would be nice to get a TPB of just the comic but I bout we will. Anybody know if panini tend to release TPB’s? I suppose we could email the address in the comic to show our support for a TPB release.

Yes it was, great artwork, stories and posters.
I picked up issue 11 yesterday. To be honest I only got this issue for completest sake. If it was continuing to run without the comic I would stopped buying it. The Thundertank shooter was smaller then I was expecting but is still one of the best “free” toys we got.
The comic it’s self was good albeit was very short and the rest of the magazine padded out with puzzles and activities, which is typical of comics in the UK (and I suspect the rest of Europe) as they are aimed at a much younger audience then in the USA.
