Thundercats UK comic thread! [ISSUE 11 TO BE FINAL ISSUE!]

Kat Nicholson - a UK colourist who’s worked on several issues of the UK’s various recent Transformer series - has announced on her DeviantArt that a UK ThunderCats comic is in the works, and that she’s colouring it. According to the journal post the comic is set to be out at the end of the month and will have original stories based on the new series. It is being drawn by artist Cosmo White.

Ive never in my life read or owned a comic book. Is this a COMIC, like what you read in the Sunday morning paper? Or in a comic BOOK?

Either way, I would love to check this out for the first time :slight_smile:

That being said, this is pretty cool. It would’ve been cool to get a Doctor Who crossover out of this one though.

I own the old STAR COMICS, i have all the recent WS Thundercats, i am definitely buying these! That was to be expected. Now it’s the Video Game turn

I wonder why they decided to publish it in the UK instead of the US. I’m sure I’ll get them just as quickly anyway.

I lately have a feeling that this franchise is making it big in Europe, while in the US it remains sort of obscure.

Cool. Where’d you get that info from? I’ve been looking for info for the comic, but I haven’t found so much as a cover picture yet.

Do we even know who is writing the comic? We know the artists, but I think it would be important to know who the writer is.

Ahh… so it is the Panini project that was rumoured last year. Interesting.

Off topic - I found some of my old TMNT comics back at home a few weeks back. The UK versions that came out in the mid 90’s for the kid crowd. What a hoot they were!
