If Bandai are still actively working on TC products, then WTF are my 6" Tygra and Cheetara figures? FFS, it’s been forever.

Long episode, 2 hour movie. Who cares? Just some long thing that can finish it. Soon everybody is gonna be like "not a2 hour movie, a 3 hour movie

I honestly don’t mind how short/long the next season is. I don’t care if we get one more or five more seasons. I just want the story to come to a conclusion. If it happens to be a few episodes, fine. If it’s a whole season, awesome. If it’s just a comic book, I’ll still be excited for it. I just want it to end somehow. I already have PTSD from Teen Titans ending on a cliffhanger (not to mention that the new show most likely won’t even follow the same story), and I would love to see a series end properly. It seems like none of them do these days.

Actually, there was a YJ toyline. It was just as successful as most other CN action figure lines.
No, it got cancelled soon after it was released. So, I guess it was just about as successful as the other CN toylines. :eek:
It really wasn’t. But then again Mattel hasn’t even advertised DC toys that weren’t tied to a motion picture franchise since Teen Titans and even then only barely. On the one hand I get it, advertising is ridiculously expensive and the show is meant to advertise the toys anyway for a whole 22 minutes, but you still need the commercials to show the actual toys and what they can do. Hasbro has an entire channel that’s basically non-stop advertising for their products and yet they still slap a couple of commercials together every time a new line launches.
The Young Justice line wasn’t a collector market toy like the DCUC figures, it was actually meant for kids and had higher expectations to live up to (since, like it or not, toys bought by or for children make up an overwhelming share of the market). Kids simply didn’t want them and adult fans simply weren’t picking up enough slack to justify continuing the line.
Thundercats, by contrast, performed better but it was simply never a big priority line for Ban Dai. Their flagship has and always will be Power Rangers and Thundercats was never going to get the attention an 80’s revival desperately needed.
I was hoping for some announcement from comic con . but all we got is some classic toys to please the nostalgic fans , and… this? I guess we can be relaxed about the show coming back . but I was oping for a bigger announcement .
Man…I remember when I first saw the trailer for this show 1 year ago , thinking thisis a crazy idea and never thought I’d fall in love with it so much …
That’s me asking the question in the video. I’m surprised the question was even cleared. I had the impression that the screener was a ThunderCats fan. I was wearing my tcats T-shirt and lanyard. Disappointed that Kevin Smith (moderator) didn’t push them further. In hindsight I wish that I pushed them into an explanation, but I was nervous enough asking such a bold question.
I think you did well enough. If they were unwilling to give a straight answer, it’s unlikely that pushing them harder would have made any difference. I think we’re all going to have prepare for a (possibly) long wait and simply hope for the best.

I’m glad to see that all isn’t lost for ThunderCats - even though these days I’m largely in “lurk mode” due to pressures in my “offline” life, I am still 100% a ThunderCats fan and praying that we get a second season of the new show. It’s been a dream come true seeing ThunderCats return and I hope that all the amazing fan efforts we’re seeing online help the “powers that be” to realise what a huge fanbase there is for it!

The same goes for me guys, as you grow up you have less and less time to spend on your hobbies, but i am always a Thundercats devotee!!
I believe we have done everything possible so as to get the message.
