I know this is a really horrible tease, but I’ve received word on some information that I will be sharing with everyone in due time. Please believe me when I say this is pretty big and that none of the major movie sites have yet to break this.
Be patient with me. With so much news about MOTUC (check my twitter page for the 411), the ThunderCats statue, and now this information, I’ve been overwhelmed and am totally exhausted from SDCC.

If you google ThunderCats, you’ll see some concept artwork that was released yesterday by another site. We will have additional information on those concepts and the status of the movie shortly. I’ll have something up as soon as tomorrow.
Here is the concept for Lion-O. I love how they modeled his face. A perfect cross between a Lion and a man. I wish they would try and stick with the original claw shield though, as well as incorporate blue into his suit, but I am liking the “vision” behind these concepts thus far.
I think I would like it better if there was more hair like a mane instead he looks like a concept more fitting for Wily Kat. The outfit doesn’t do it for me either its to Mad Max or Final Fantasy like. Sorry I guess I’m being too picky and judgemental

I’m liking all of that concept art, but to me it looks like the Black Pyramid is design to fly :o (like Skytomb) I’m not to sure if I like that idea.

As for Mumm-Ra’s flying pyramid, it’s not a bad amalgamation of the Onyx Pyramid and SkyTomb. I can swim w/ that.
Now as long as they don’t mess up Tygra & Cheetara and the rest of the thunderkittens… (i hope they keep Wilykit’s hair as close as possible) ^____^
EDIT: I hadn’t noticed the Square Eye. Ew. I hope that that’s not the final design then, and just a mock up for the most part.
The Eye of Thundera has to be the orginal signal. That’d be like F*ING w/ the Bat Signal or someting. C’mon, ya can’t do that! :p:D

Very good. Only additional change I’d make, if I had the talent you do, is to lose the brown leather remaining up top(around the shoulder and the ribs). He should have something kind of like a tank top i.e. closer to the original cartoon look but with pants instead of a unitard or leotard or whatever that’s called. And there’s no way they can “f” with the tc-symbol.
is there more to come manny or was that what you were goign to share with us? yes i do like the style, but would prefer something less dark for the T-cats, maybe okay for the vilians, honestly i’m going to still love this style but i really think that if i were the age at when i first watched thundercats now, i think i’d really dig this type of film, which is what they’re goign for i’m sure. but yeah there needs to be some tie in to the older fans i think. whether is be simply Larry Kenney’s voice or a few color scheme’s that will make me go, " Ha that’s awesome!"
either or ANY way, i’ll take just about anything thundercats. except for the teen titans, glam rock concept. but i am truly grateful that there is support and from what i’ve been reading lately and with the news from the matty collector panel. is the thundercats community really a LOT larger than i had realized?
why has it taken so long for something to happen is what i’m wondering if this is the case. i mean i know everyone and there mom remembers MOTU and looking at that they’re like in their 4th or 5th series or something of toys spanning 3 decades now. i know when i talk to people i’m like, “you know, the thundercats, with the guy that was a lion with a sword, etc etc” and people generally are like “oh yeah!” but i know i’m rambling now, but i see things like Family guy, robot chicken, and even south park “imagination land”. and i’m just astounded b/c i thought we were so “small” when compared to other genres b/c there’s so many out there.
but anywho i’m just hoping for something as great, to me, as say the 200x and then the motuc lines out there. i mean they got 2 revivals. could you imagine that? i think tehre’s peopel out there that dont care for the motu 200x line but i think it’s cool, especially since i think they really paid homage to the toys before say the mid 90’s. they had playsets and vehicles and everything under the sun just like in the 80’s. thanks for listening and i’ll keep keeping my fingers crossed for new and great info to come. email me any time, i love to talk about this crap lol. I had read elsewhere that the production was “at a stand still”. Hopefully the news you have is unexpected yet in a good way.
I REALLY happy with the designs! Besides Lion-O, this looks great! Refreshing and new, but at the same time, there’s something familiar about them. SO glad it doesn’t look like the stuff that’s out there now. *O/T-I went to see Harry Potter, and ALL the previews of the CGI movies looked the same!*As for Lion-O, I’m surprised at his look. I’d think they’re go for a little more familar/iconic look with the character, but I can live with this, easily! It’s all ready starting to grow on me.
