Someone did a ThunderCats rap for a Toonami themed NerdCore album.
I got a chance to listen to it. It was pretty radical.
I just checked the ratings for the show on Toonami. It was only beaten by Bleach and Samurai 7. This is good.

In the uk If I set sky + to record all episodes of tcats, does that count in the ratings here? If so I’m setting to record everything.
Sadly it was only got beaten by Bleach and Samurai 7 for the first week, but it seem to beat Sym-Bionic Titan every week except last week with the rating of 493,000.

It’s not on Friday anymore. In fact, it’s almost been a tear sunce it has been. It got moved to saturday mornings and tge to Saturday night (Sunday morning) at 2:00 am.
2:30am, you mean.
Oh yeah, oops. As for the ratings falling, they always do after a pilot of a show. Always meaning ALWAYS. Plus it is on pretty late and to have it still beat Casshern and FMA and a few others for the first few weeks is awesome. And I don’t expect it to beat Bleach or Samurai 7 or even Eureka 7 on a regular basis because those shows have had a huge following for years and have been on Toonami longer.
It’s good that toonami tries to keep the NEW Thundercats alive, i was thinking the other day, why Thundercats weren’t advertised at all on the comic book pages of the various titles being released every month by any Publisher like DC or marvel. I happen to be a long time comic book fan as well and read quite many titles each month but haven’t stumbled to any Thundercats ad at all…
I know its not on Friday i was just giving a reason for the big drop last week.
It only has beaten Casshern Sins on October 6. Oct 13-27 it continued to beat Sym-Bionic Titan(expect for last week), FA Brothehood, Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop (which it should seeing how they air after it).
The thing about the ratings is the time-slot and other shows ability to hold on to the numbers Bleach (1 million - 900k)gets. 50/50 chance S7 seems to lose a good bit of the viewers, when it doesn’t then its Casshern who lose those them. After Casshern, the drop in ratings are stable and some gain like Cats getting a-bit more viewers than Titan.

I really didn’t appreciate how much Toonami advertised it until last weekend. In fact, I was shocked at how much they did over some of their other shows. Considering they moved it to 1:30 means there’s got to be something they like about the show.

Well that is good news that it will be on earlier.
If the ratings fell last week it probably has something to do with Hurricane Sandy and most of the North East loosing power. Just a thought.
Wouldn’t doubt it. The jump to 1:30 may help a little, but I think Sandy was a detriment to all of TV’s ratings.
