will it be rushing, if i suggested we have a deadline for a pilot issue?. the pilot issue doesn’t necessarily have to be long. we could maybe just do about 12 to 16 pages just to get our feet wet first. also depending on how many artists we have, we could divide the pages between the artists to work on.
I’d say our deadline should be within the next few months. Gold Lion and I will probably whip up a quick little story that doesn’t really have to do much with the actual plot.

One thing I’d like to discuss: Both Kaynar and Addicus are wanted criminals in some part of the world and both join Slithe becuase they like fighting. Both also seem to have eaten other people. Their fighting styles are obviously different but I have a hard time telling their personalities apart otherwise. I get that Kaynar is a bit more saddistic and crazy then Addicus, but what else can we use to differentiate them?
Comparing them to Marvel and DC:
It seemed to me like Kaynar is more like Deadpool, Carnage or Joker. Crazy and loving it and not afraid to do whatever the heck he wants.
And Addicus is more like Sabertooth, Killer Croc, or Wolverine. Animalistic and a bit brutal, but skilled. And more able to control himself than Kaynar.

Good comparisons. Kaynar is chaotic and Addicus is controlled. I think we need to flesh Addicus out a bit more. We can easily understand what Kaynar is, but Addicus has been a little more subdued, so it’s harder to judge him. He’s probably farily intelligent and a bit proud, but a total sociopath all the way.
Also if you want to do a “pilot” issue, why not make it a side story set during the first season instead of something afterwards? Maybe a flashback or even an adventure Jaga and Claudus might’ve had together when they were younger. Or a story about something that happened to Panthro and Grune during the decade they were looking for the book. Or maybe even something about the villains or some of the side characters. Maybe something interesting happened to the Drifter when he was giving all the swords back. idk. Just throwing ideas out there.
Those are all good ideas. Maybe we can write something that happened off screen during certain events. I’m a little interested in doing a story involving the Mutants myself, but haven’t thought of anything yet.

If I had to label them, I’d say Kaynar is Sanguine, Slithe is Choleric, Vultaire is Melancholic, and Addicus is Plegmatic.
For the Cats, I think Lion-O is Sanguine, Tygra is Choleric, Panthro is Melancholic, and Cheetara is Phlegmatic, while maybe Kit and Kat are more in the middle. It’s all relative of course though, these chracters have more depth than those labels give them.
In fact, I think I’ll add these to that page.
I’m not found on making a “pilot” issue that has nothing to do with the comic. We should rather just spend time on the ACTUAL comic and just promote it with the fans.
Why the hurry? Why making a story and spend time to make a comic which is not gonna be worth nothing in the long run?
A Pilot does not mean it has to be different than the actual show or comic. The pilot SHOWS WHAT THE COMIC WILL BE AND CONTINUE FROM THERE IF IT GETS PICKED UP. Which means the Pilot Issue will be ISSUE NUMBER ONE!
i really dig these ideas. also what about the younger days of liono and tygra. maybe liono goes off in the slums of thundera for his usual tech fix and tygra very curious to find out why liono keeps sneaking off to places unfit for royalty follows him. maybe they both engage in a street fight against a bunch of street thugs. this is just rough idea, maybe you writers can polish it up to make it better.
The issue could be a setup / prolouge for the actual comic start with Issue 1. ( i noticed and i hope i read hammy wrong in the social group )
Like a short prequal could be cool. Either to the comic book or to the actual show.
Prequel stories have to be totally on the spot.

No. We don’t need any more writers. The only people that will be added to the staff are artists from now on. Sorry DesertCat but we’ve already gotten enough writers.
Just some friendly advice, you guys have no defined leadership structure, make one. Having people say conflicting things (like the above posts) leads to conflict and ultimately failure. Name a (one) leader and stick to it.
And I don’t know why you would want to curtail people bringing creative ideas to the table. Don’t limit yourself, because you will probably need all the help you can get.
Gold Lion and I are the leaders. We are also both the head writers. HeMan is the head artist and pretty much everyone else is their to give their input on it. We want to keep the staff small because we are already struggling with too many OC’s and focusing on things that don’t need to be focused on yet.
That’s not really the problem regarding this project. It’s the communication. Everyone so far regarding myself i’ve been able to question about their stories and ideas and they question mine. No one, other than yourself is the one bugging me so much.
You are on top of everyone saying “i’m the head writer, screw you” is the things you say when you want to add something me or someone else question. Hopefully you can lighten yourself up and understand just cause you are the head writer does not really mean your ideas is better or make it like you have better control. We are supposed to be a TEAM and right now you dont wanna play that teamgame.
And yet again dont take this as i try to put you down or anything, you and Lion are in charge but you are definitely not that good of a leader
To put it nicely, everything was fine before you showed up. I really am trying to be civil here and be nice, but you were the one who said that someone (or some people) need to take charge. If you don’t like my leadership skills, than so be it. Don’t try to say that I alone am not fit for the role when Gold Lion agrees with me on most things. I think it would be best if you just aren’t on the staff so things don’t get any more heated.
