Circe’s more like Strawberry Shortcake next to Pumyra anyhow. Still, gotta keep fingers crossed for that 2nd season.

It’s funny, but ironic, that when we watch Lion-O in the OS, we wish his life could be more tragic, then NS comes along and we wish Lion-O’s life was less tragic!!
Something I dont get is Mumm-ra had all the stones before and didnt get all armored up yet he gets the tech stone and got that black armor what is up with that?
Ya they do need a base but the way the story is setup I think the series would end when the Thundercats get all the stones and defeat mummra. I mean it could take a couple of seasons to happen, along the way i hope to see older enemies and newer allies.
I actually strongly disagree. We need closure to what the finale set up, and although I would love to see the base, I don’t think OS-style episodes would work with the series. Them traveling and going new places is what separated the series from The Legend of Korra and Young Justice and the OS. I’m not saying I would give up on the show if they drifted more towards that, but they already set up a linear plot, so they shouldn’t stray from that halfway through the show.
And I strongly agree with you on most parts. But I wouldn’t mind if they had a base to return to just for a few times during the second season. Like a new Thundercats lair back at the Kingdom or something.
I’m thinking they’ll spend a lot more time in the Feliner. It seems pretty big, so they could probably fit some bedrooms plus a dining area and other stuff in there.
Dan has concept art of the Feliner being able to pick up and/or hold the Thunder tank on his DeviantART page. But it would be cool if they did make one vehicle out of the two.
I’m just thinking that battling over the stone(s) can get old. I would like new mcguffins to enter the mix for them to fight over which could also introduce new villains.
What made the OS great was all of the lore introduced with the many different factions scattered about 3rd Earth (and the universe for that matter). If it was always about “hey you, help us find the stone” with a few filler episodes that hint at broadening the lore, it can get stale… for me at least.
Now if the stones were all found and united the factions, that’d open up opportunities to explore backstories and the lore such as Cheetara gaining telepathy, the power behind Tygra’s invisibility, and the dozens and dozens of relics that threaten or save certain nations that Mumm-ra and the others constantly vie for.
