I was looking for this as well, and hope they develope it in the 2nd season. I want to see Cheetara revealing her powers/abilities as a Cletric (if she has one), like she kind of did in the mines with Tygra. I also was expecting Tygra invisibility power to be explained in “Native Son”, but they didn’t do it; at least they gave as a hint that the whip is a traditional Tiger weapon, and it might have to do with the invisibility, but why and how we don’t know… is it a thing of the whip, or a thing of the Tigers?
Unfortunately, whenever we get a “filler” episode not tied to the arc, most complain and sometimes it doesn’t fit with the urgency of the problem at hand: racing Mumm-ra to the stones. Get rid of the urgency and all will be right.

So I was thinking how about in the next season maybe the os set of characters somehow end up in the ns’ universe because that would be quite interesting.

At some point sfter the Kingdom of Thundera has almost fallen, Claudus say the epic line’ Thunder, thunder Thunder Thundercats Hoooooooo’ in exactly the same way Larry Kenney said it in the OS
Wow, I expected you guys to know this, but Larry Kenny did the voice for Claudus.
Yeah, I CONSIDER THIS AS A DEFACTO hammy.

What i meant to say is that even though Larry voiced Claudus in the NS,
he didn’t have the same tone in his voice as in the OS. He was more barytone and high stress. However, in the particualr monent i mentioned above he sounded exactly like the old Lion-O. He must have done that on purpose for nostalgia reason;)

You know they need to do the thing where the sword signals the other cats in to where Lion-o is next season if there is one, like in the os lion-o is off fighting mumm-ra then he brings out the sword and goes “Thunder… Thunder… thundercats ho!!!” and raises the sword to the air as the cat logo gets a spotlight in the sky
I’ve been thinking (and sorry if this had already been said, I haven’t come to this thread for a while and am lazy about reading all the previous posts lol): do you guys think that Pumyra being the traitor might be some kind of homage or link to the OS ep “Pumm-Ra”, where Mumm-Ra took the disguise of a Thunderian puma to fool and betray the TC? In both cases, tha puma happened to be the bad cat.
