It seems kinda far-fetched to get her life back. What i want is to see more evildoing from her and then they save her soul and set it free. IF this series is gonna be more “dark and movielike” as they wanted. Having them kill off (ye “kill” a dead character..) a Thundercat would help with that.
That’s where Mumm-Rana comes in to play. She may have a way to counteract the ASOE.

If they even allow humans in the NS…even then, ASoE is really powerful. And it’s been around a long time. Something i saw on another site had me thinking…why didn’t SBS reveal her true nature or pick up on some kind of bad aura on her. Or why Cheetara couldn’t detect mumm-ra’s bad magic which would be similar to that of the sword of plundarr…?
SBS is something Lion-O has to use himself. The sword is not his babysitter in this show, which means if he wants to look for “the stones location”, or “a way to get over to the tower of omens” he just thinks about it, uses the SBS to find the way and it shows him.
Regarding Cheetara, why would she? Not like she has shown any magic besides running fast. Cleric or no Cleric she is not like Jaga and probably never will be as strong as he once was.
Cheetara unlocked the SoP…and yeah, the sword isn’t his babysitter, but remember in FoM? It reacted to something being evil or not…
I wouldn’t work against anything good. Sure he could have tested it on Pumyra, but I think using “Sight Beyond Sight” on any girl would be kinda creepy and stalker-ish.
You’re just thinking to much. Trying to complicate things when it’s not needed, or the creators just failed.

The creators didn’t fail. They did a fantastic job.
Either because screenplay couldn’t afford another plot hole, or the owner of the SoO was thinking with his other SoO.
I believe that Pumyra’s case is different than the Tiger clan’s. The Tigers weren’t resurrected, but preserved for eternity by the curse. When it was broken, they faded away, because the bodies they had were not really there anymore, hence the fading.
With Pumyra, her soul was kept from moving on, likely harvested by Mumm-Ra and the Spirits of Evil during the attack on Thundera. Unlike the Tigers, Pumyra was given a living and functional body. I believe that the ASoE’s magic is what’s keeping her soul bound to that body, but it may be possible that the Spirit Stone could be used to permanently link that body and soul, at least until she dies again. The Spirit Stone could also repair Pumyra’s soul and make it whole again, assuming it has been tampered with by Mumm-Ra.
If the real Pumyra is anything like the one we’ve been watching, I don’t think it’s unlikely that she may want a chance to make up for what Mumm-Ra made her do, and to seek out justice.
Or a more simple explanation, she wasn’t completely evil and thus did not set off the Evil Divining Rod feature of the SoO.
I’ll going for a new character and I’m sure this will give some writers an excuse to add on in.
You’re kind of a jerk, you know that? Do you even have a reason for hating the Lion-O/Pumyra pairing? You’re almost as needlessly vicious as the writers.
Speaking of the writers, I’m convinced they hate Lion-O now. For whatever reason. This episode almost makes me NOT want to see the show get another season. So very close. If they do bring it back, I hope they can get some writers who don’t take sadistic pleasure in torturing the main hero. I also hope they give Lion-O the satisfaction of killing Pumyra (again), preferably by beheading her with the Sword of Omens for treason.
Beheading Pumyra would be extreme since “ThunderCats” is a kids’ show generally.
Are you kidding? They wouldn’t have Lion-O kill another cat! He’s not like that! This is a kids’ show too, and even though it is rather dark, beheading is a whole new level.
Yes another reason we need a second season because if Pumyra is supposed to have 7 eps centered on her, she’s due for about 3 more.

Um… Justice? I honestly think Pumyra’s execution is the only thing that can make up for… that. They could always have it happen off camera. Maybe show the silhouette. But whatever they do, I really hope they don’t go the redemption route. Not only is it a bit tired, but I honestly don’t think she deserves it.
It has been overdone on other shows, but at the same time, is doing a silhouette, or just having her die in cold blood all that you can think of? Besides I feel like that’d be too kind, an maybe something she would want.
If she doesn’t get the redemption and is a die hard follower (which I pray to the dear writers is NOT the case), then putting her in a jail cell until her body can’t go on would really b a better way resolve it.
But the thing is, it really isn’t Pumyra, it’s her anger/aggression combined with the ASOE’s influence inside her body. She deserves redemption, just not in her current form.
