I think a part of her did fall for him; a part that still remains despite she’s under Mumm-Ra’s control. She seemed too sincere at points (end of Birth of the Blades) to be faking.

I think they’ll do it in 52 episodes (2 seasons), not only because that’s what is ordered, but that’s how the OS was.
Exactly. We got to see him get to know who she was, and he fell for the whole package. Even the stuff others might hate her for, like her aggression, Lion-O loves that about her. We see agression, he sees passion 
She never seduced him. She gave off one hint that she might be interested, and then he took it upon himself to court her. She lied to him, but she didn’t seduce him.
I still see hope for redemption. Problem is, I think it will end with her soul going to…heaven or wherever. Sigh, I still have a small bit of hope. Not just for this ship, but for Pumyra herself. Watching her death nearly broke me. She died alone, believing her King didn’t care enough to save her. (They should have looked for survivors..)
Pumyra betrays Lion-O for Mumm-Ra because she hates him? WTF? If she hates Lion-O for leaving her and their people behind and not rescuing them, then she should hate Mumm-Ra even more for destroying her home and causing all of this?
This just screams of bad writing to me much like the horribly written love triangle. I don’t think I’ll want to watch this new series anymore.
sigh Everybody hated Lion-O, didn’t think he was fit to be King and now SHE still carries on hating him for something he NEVER did?! As much as I like the NS, I want an episode where everyone loves Lion-O for the entire time of the episode, instead of just for three or four minutes.
It is not bad writing at all. Mumm-Ra offered her a second chance, unlike Lion-O (I’m not trying to make Lion-O the bad guy; it wasn’t his fault). The ASOE harnessed her hatred and determination and made them 100x stronger, so she doesn’t know anything besides to hate Lion-O. It’s somewhat complex, but easy to understand.
That’s why I think Mum-Ra tampered with her spirit/mind. Even though she was spitting mad at Lion-O, it would make zero sense to side with Mum-Ra. Remember how badly she beat up that rat for whipping a cat? Even in her flashback, she was taking on the baddies single handily. She was a proud Thundarian, which could be another reason for her hatred. Here she is, laying her life on the line for her people, and the last thing she sees before she dies is Lion-O walking away from her.

I don’t know, but it had great writing, no matter how disappointing it was to some people.
Maybe it was J.M. cos he always tends to write the episodes that I can’t bear to watch (except for 'Survival of the Fittest).
Agreed. I tried watching the first few minuets on my dvr but they started the show early so i can’t tell who wrote this episode.:lionomad:
