That would be kinda cool, but I have hope in these next two episodes.
That’s exactly the point though, even though Lion-O’s come through the trials he still isn’t perfect and has lessons to learn. Pre-trials Lion-O would have taken the wrong message away from this episode (that all technology is evil and should be shunned), but here he’s open enough to see truth, for good or evil technology is just a tool, and you can’t blame it for the way people choose to use it. Just because Mumm-Ra and his lackeys use it for evil that doesn’t mean the cat’s can’t turn around and use it for good against him.
Bleh. Another boring filler episode. Ratchet from Transformers Prime couldn’t even save this one, it was pretty dull. 
I really don’t like how the series has been handled since “The Pit”. The Cats just leaving the Kittens behind and not even mentioning them until this episode is just sloppy. Who’s to say Mumm-Ra doesn’t capture the Kittens while they are separated from the group? The Thundercats shouldn’t be this careless.
I think the main thing that ruined this episode is the lack of other characters. If they would have had everyone with them the episode would have been TONS more entertaining. It is, however, FAR from my least favorite episode.

Can’t stick around too long cuzz I haven’t watched it yet, but on hearing that the kittens aren’t back yet, I’m starting to think that the Forever Bag has in the next stone.

Remember in episode 3, Lion-O said he wasn’t going to babysit the kittens…they can handle themselves. I agree though this episode was kinda suspect…Tab Murphy where are you?
I love Tab. his episodes are awesome. Let’s hope he did the finale.
+1. Episode 7 and 21 have been my previous least favorite (not a fan of the space mythology kinda bores me), but this episode here is the new undisputed champion {in my Michael Buffer voice}!
Mine is hands down “Survival of the Fittest”. I almost fell asleep during it and started doing other things when it was on. It’s the only episode I’ve seen once and never watched again because it was so boring. “Berbils” is a very, VERY close second. Then this episode.
Today’s episode was pretty awesome. It made us feel sorry for the Soul Sever. He was really tragic.
I missed them too, but it was nice to see the “adult males” sharing some quality time, kind of the OS eps “Superpower Potion” and “The Mountain” lol
Overall a nice ep, better than the last couple of eps IMO.
I was a bit disappointed they did not even have a line of Panthro Tygra and I will go to the shop you ladies stay here and make sure the kittens don’t run off again.
So running the tank into numerous battles, walls, and Dinosaurs did not dent it. but 5 sec. and some old rusted robot creatures demolish it.
What is it with infrared vision and the sounds from Predator?
For those curious as to why Panthro did not get his soul severed it was because flicker (the little robot bug) shot his bed and stopped it from entering the machine.
Robo Tygra reminded me of Robot X from G1 Transformers where spike was put into its body. Then when it started growing I was reminded of Akira. I could almost see Lion-O being swallowed by the growing machinery they blasting free with the sword yelling

and have it yelling back…

I am really getting the feeling that the producers set out a general plot line and then let the writers loose with no supervision. Each one telling his part of the series in his own manner with very little cohesive structure. Its like the old game in preschool where you would sit in a circle and tell part of a story then you stop and the next person would cary on and take the story in their own direction. In the end you have one very wacky story with really good and really bad parts. Creatively this is good but only as an exercise. As a production level event it really confuses the audience and does not help the series. This makes me feel like they really gave up on a future for this series from the very begining. Thinking their is now way this will catch on to a long lived series so we might as well just have fun and do what we want with it while we have it. Sooo Sad
I love how one sub par episode makes people think of the end of the series. It’s hilarious, and it’s with every cartoon I watch. And, a bad episode of this show is a fantastic episode for those.
Me And My Family will stick To The old Series.

Once again with the whole “end of the series because of a few mediocre episodes” thing.
I enjoyed it. Yeah I was hoping we’d actually get to the stone this episode, but the SS is my favorite type of villain. You cant help but sympathize with him a little.
Besides not getting the stone, my only other problem with this episode was the absence of the girls and the twins.
The problem is the placement of a ‘filler’ episode so close to the finale I personally find it bizarre and frustrating that they haven’t utilized and developed the Mutant generals in the final 3 episodes of the series
The second half of series 1 started off so strongly, but even I have to admit the last few episodes haven’t been very cohesive and it does feel like the writers have gone off and done their own thing. Not really good for a series with a continuing arc…
Hopefully the final episodes will feature Mumm-Ra, Ssslithe, Addicus and Kaynar (plus fingers crossed, Vultureman! :))
