We need cheetara to become jealous of lion-o + pumyra and do a 180 and go for lion-o again! More drama.
No wait how did I get myself into talking about the romance stuff.. we actually need more plot related good vs evil action! 
Iâd like to see her get jealous, but I like her with Tygra. Theyâre a great couple together.

Yeah, that would be more like what I was thinking. Itâll be interesting to see her opinion about the relationship for sure.
That would just be dumb writing, especially since Cheetara has already made it pretty clear that she would rather die together with Tygra than put him at risk and stay alive with Lion-O. She seems pretty committed, and her dumping Tygra just because Pumyra came along would make her look really bad. And in my opinion, one lovetriangle is enough. More than enough.
Truer words have never been spoken clearly Cheetara LOVES Tygra, yup LOVES him sheâs not gonna change her mind because it doesnt make sense after weâve seen how committed she is to him when she laid down her defenses when Tygraâs life was on the line, when she told Lion-O her heart BELONGS to Tygra, when she said sheâd chosen him years ago and not changed her mind, that really doesnât sound like someone whoâs likely to change their mind anytime soon about their lover.
Just look at the reactions to my suggestion, I know very well how this will look, but that is what I mean, it would bring great drama. It would also make Tygra have to show more of himself to win Cheetara back for himself.
So when you say âgreat dramaâ, do you mean fandom-drama? As in fans disagreeing with each other? Because there are other things that could happen in the show that could bring interesting drama without making Cheetara look bad or resorting to dumb writing.
Tygra shouldnât have to do anything to win Cheetara back if she left him to chase after his little brother. If she starts cheating on him the moment Lion-O starts making goo goo eyes at another girl, she doesnât deserve his love, and I hope he would realize that.
No that has nothing to do with it. I mean that it would evoke a heavy reaction because noone wants them to actually split up. That is the drama.

She is not leaving him at any point. In a relationship people arenât always equally interested in each-other at all times, jealousy happens, a crush can happen. It doesnât make anyone a bad person, it is how this is dealt with that matters. So if Cheetara starts to pay more attention to Lion-o than Tygra suddenly? What would tygraâs reaction be?

If Cheetara suddenly starts liking Lion-O more than Tygra and starts neglecting Tygra to focus on Lion-O instead, thereâs really nothing he can do beyond call her out on it and question her actions. I donât want to watch a relationship like that, I would just get angry, not enjoy some âgreat dramaâ. Developing a crush on someone else when youâre in a committed relationship doesnât make you a bad person, but paying less attention to your partner because of it would be a ****ty thing to do. They shouldnât have to suffer because youâre not fully committed to the relationship. Better to be honest about it and see if theyâre willing to put up with you liking someone else better.
As for Tygraâs reaction, hopefully heâd direct any anger heâd feel at Cheetara, not Lion-O.
You are looking at it from a point of view that is too romanticized. Where they have to act perfectly and maturely all the time in their relationship. It isnât like that in real life either so why would they? So if Cheetara gets jealous. It really isnât as big of a deal as you are making it out to be, a lot of the themes of thundercats are coming of age, making a mistake but redeeming yourself, this falls in line with that when cheetara and Tygra can find themselves even closer at the end of the episode.

I could see if there had been any kind of hint, even of the most subtle nature, that Cheetara is at all unhappy or hesitant in her relationship with Tygra, but any time the show focuses on them itâs to highlight how completely enamored of each other they are.
They show absolutely no signs of breaking up EVER.
Over-coming hardships does not mean they are breaking up. To use a corollary that is not about romance, wilykit and wilykat being lured into more serious crime by tookit but redeeming themselves does not mean they are now horrible crimimals.
Tygra and Cheetara really never had any hardships, besides separation for about 10 years. Otherwise, theyâve had a pretty easy relationship after the whole Lion-O incident.
That is the point, they havenât yet. Do you know any couple that hasnât?
Yeah but still. It doesnât look like theyâd have any reason to have any. they seem extremely happy together.
I too struggled to understand Cheetara for a long timeâŚbut now I see sheâs crystalline clear. Iâm sure if you consult this handy-dandy illustration below, youâll agree and there will be no more confusion about her character.*

But also out of character. Given how different they are and fow passionately different they feel and think about things, I would have expected some arguments already. Not strong enough to make them break up, because they balance each other at the end, but at least to make them argue.
