The others weren’t saving the slaves, they were already freed. Pumyra didn’t want the Thundercats to escape using the same route as them which would have led the army that way. Panthro, Tygra and Cheetara pretty much just walked over to the Thundertank and stood there the whole episode. 
Yeah they lucked out.
I really am glad Pumyra is part of the team.

The only bad thing he did was not telling about Mumm-Ra at the start of the series to warn everybody (if they even would trust him). Also he was a jerk in the Ramlak episode.
He didn’t know who Mumm-Ra was. If he would have known I’m sure he would have told them.
How do you know he did not know? He told Tygra in the prison cell that he saw Mumm-Ra. Suppose he just randomly knew about him when he first appeared?
Even Tygra mentioned Mumm-Ra before he appeared, at the games if i’m not mistaken? They probably heard stories about him from somewhere.
In other words, he knew it was him. I assume he was just scared about telling anyone.

And I really loved the backstory in this episode. The writing is done really well in the show and I’m enjoying it a lot. This episode really set up a huge battle to come.

I also never said BnW was bad. My hated games are the advanced games which removed the day and night cycle and so much other cool stuff the GBC games improved upon the originals (which for some reason still are my favorites).
I’m sure that the main reason Lion-o and Pumyra in particular got so much screen time in these last 3 episodes was because they were essentially centered around her and the events she was related to. She will not always be the focal point of the show. If anything, Lion-o will be most of the time because, well, he’s the lead character of the series. In any series that has many characters in it, not all of them will get equal screen time for every episode, some get none at all. If this show was longer than 20 minutes then I’d expect more. But it is what it is, and I take it for what they can squeeze into it, which has been good for the most part.
Now you are just stating the obvious. Of course all of them can’t get enough screen time.
The problem is when they do get screentime they usually dont do much. Just think about Tygra and Cheetara. This “arc” they have just been wandering around not doing anything at all. Giving them “credit” and saying they got very well deserved screentime when they went for the sword.
Uh… Other then that little walking thing they just stand by and talk. Oh forgive me, they talked there aswell. Case closed.
That was really well put. People don’t take into account how the story is just a huge arc split into 22-minute segments. Many long movies don’t show every character in every scene, so why expect it out of a show?

True, and comparing what Cheetara and Tygra did in their time to Lion-o’s and Pumyra’s is not really fair, even though finding the sword was important. I was a bit surprised that Pumyra got to have her story arc before Cheetara actually, since everyone else of the originals has had a focus. I guess this just doesn’t bother me as much as it might some others.
