If you think about it, it has been portrayed as much less powerful in the NS. I mean, it’s basically just scrap metal!!!

And Pumyra, due to her behavior and attitude with Lion-O, I think its safe to say she falls in the Tsundere category of female love interests.

I haven’t seen the episode yet, so I’m just speculating. Still, we really don’t know how long she’ll be with the Cats. I may be wrong, but I think I did hear that she wasn’t going to be around for the rest of the series.
A lot of fans want to see Bengal with Pumyra because they believe the two make a good couple. Whether that happens here or not remains to be seen, but the writers can still put Bengali in the show if they wish. So far they don’t want him there because they don’t seem to have a use for him.
I think Lion-O just doesn’t know how to use it properly. We’ve seen Claudus and Jaga kick some serious ass with it. Hopefully Lion-O figures out how to use his sword now that Cheetara isn’t helping him with that. 
I think we would of hear it by now.

These are the exact words ive been thinking the whole time, I cant and wont stop watching this show, But I absolutely hate seeing this happen to a title with such great potential, good story, great artwork, decent animation, awesome character Re-designs (especially all the feline ladies ), but it still falls flat in the “Martial arts” and overall action department-
Samuari Jack, Avatar LOK , Young Justice, “The Batman” , heck even Gen Rex in some cases has better combat.. Not to be mean, just an Obs..
I wished they would have kept the series a little more grounded and Wow viewers keeping the power blasts to a minimum with the occasional hint of energy from the sword, instead of having Lion-O rely on it as a GB Proton pack in most of these episodes…
again i have to say, one would think that these Hybrid Big cats (superior strength speed ,reflexes and agility), would and should be amongst the utmost elite when it comes to Fighting ability, perhaps Combat arts choreography was an afterthought when it came down to the shows overall budget.

Your right, she has gone softer on him, but she initially was mean to him. After their last scene together, I guess the following episodes will show how closer they will get. Let’s be real, her touching his face, and him saying “call me Lion-O” …OH YEA!

Anyway, eyah. I don’t think we’ll see anymore of her angry side towards Lion-O. I wonder how the rest of the group will warm up to her? I think Cheetara and Panthro will think she’s cuckoo and Tygra will constantly tease Lion-O about her being his love interest.

I don’t think Tygra would tease him. If anything I think Tygra would be relieved and try to help him out by giving him “brotherly advice” that ends up backfiring in a humorous way.

The best part is Lion-O will try to come up with comebacks even though he can’t really insult Tygra back because he has a girlfriend too.
But it’s not a martial arts series, it’s a fantasy epic with swords and sorcery and evil wizards and good princes. It’s just not an even comparison. Thundercats is more in line with The Legend of Zelda than it does with Avatar.
