Time passes between some episodes more than others. I agree that this one didn’t seem to be more than a day past the last one where as some episodes seem to have weeks between them.
I understand. However, I don’t think there was much of a break between The Pit and Curse Of Ratilla.
A couple of hours, I’d say. Although apparently Lion-O’s arm is completely healed after Pumyra was seen bandaging it. It would help explain a lot of Lion-O’s confusion at her flirting.
How does it do so? I’m not saying you’re wrong, just curious.
I didn’t say that time doesn’t pass between episodes. I said we’re watching a multi-part story arc so time isn’t passing between episodes.
Well, for starters it’s still night (although it could just always be dark around Plundarr, it is a cursed place after all), and judging by the final scene of “The Pit” and the opening scenes of this episode it just doesn’t feel like that much time has passed. Once they knew where the slaves were being held there was that sort of unspoken “Okay, let’s go.”
This does beg to question why they just left the kids on their own in the city, but it can easily be assumed that the kids and take care of themselves (having done so for some time before), and they could have had set up a time to meet back at the Thundertank previously should they get separated (which is pretty standard for any traveling group, especially one with kids). That said it is just speculation.

Well, just a couple of hours earlier she was ready to kill him and suddenly she start flirting with him (pretty blatantly I’d say). Even knowing what he does know (she was misinformed about his abandoning the cats, and she now knows that her hatred was misplaced) it’s a lot to process. Plus I think he’s dead-set against getting hurt again like he did last time. So instead of enjoying it like he would before “Between Brothers” he’s thinking “Great, this again. What the hell do I do?”
Yeah I’m definitely looking forward to the next 2 episodes.

Well, he should realize he can’t lose her to anyone. Panthro’s too old and WilyKit is still far too young. Despite her bipolarity, she’s perfect for him. I also think where she wanted him to stay out of her fight was because she didn’t want him to get hurt.
Anyone else think Pumyra’s compliance with Lion-O’s command to stand down didn’t really have anything to do with him being king?

Yes, I think she genuinely has feelings for him. She was just mad at him at first because she didn’t know who to take her anger out on.

I absolutely agree 100% with everything you stated! This episode was just wrong, wrong, wrong on so many levels! And after I watch it I’ll come back to post specific examples.
I was up this morning and watching tv, so I caught this episode, the only one I’ve caught since it started up again last month.
I didn’t understand why at the end they didn’t have time to get back to the Tower of Omens. It looked to me like Mumm-Ra’s army was far off and surely they traveled there by vehicle so surely they should have had enough time to get back to the Tower. And if not, send Cheetara with it who is fast enough to outrun them and get it to safety.
Where were the kids?
I did not like Ratar-O’s voice. Not menacing enough like it was in the OS. I like him sounding more menacing.
And did anyone else think the little elderly rat who was doing all the beatings looked a lot like Mr. Ages from The Secret of Nimh?
I thought Tygra and Cheetara found the Sword of Plundarr a little too fast and a little too easy so I found that a little disappointing, but it fits in with how these episodes all feel rushed.
I like Pumyra! What episode did they find her in? I’m disappointed that we don’t have Bengali and Lynx-O along yet.
And yay for finding Thunderian survivors!

Also of note is the interesting compare and contrast in the interaction between Tygra/Cheetara who are in a committed relationship and Lion-O/Pumyra who are still getting to know each other. It had to be intentional by the writers to show how things are different between them and how the two pairings (if they are indeed such) will be different as time goes on.

Yes, I enjoyed this. I think Tygra and Cheetara will see them as “beginners” when it comes to relationships, just as some sort of comic relief.
