This is what a lot of us meant by the whole romance thing becoming too much. They went over the top and need to scale it back a lot. Keep it subtle.
It is funny when Tygra and Cheetara are kissing in the middle of rocks falling and not one hit them. I guess
it’s the power of love.
Just riddled with tropes today. I forgot what this is one called, but 1000 arrows being shot at one target, yet none of them hit the target;)

Last week people were complaining that they didnt show enough affection, that their relationship has been dropped. They layed it on thick this time though. 
A lot of people were complaining about not seeing Tygra and Cheetara together, so I guess this made up for lost time.
I really enjoyed this episode. All thundercats except the twins got much screen time.
Glad that Cheetara got more action
It was the first time the group split up and work together for one mission.
I didn’t know that Jaga was that powerful :o.
I loved it, only a few nitpicky gripes…
I would have liked to see Lion-O hold his own a little better with the fight against Ratar-O. Once again the Spirit Stone saves the day when the sword fails to get the job done. What is that now, three times?
It’s nice to see none of the Cats really question where the Kittens are. They are looking after these kids and just left them back at the Pit by themselves? Not cool.
Mumm-Ra’s all powerful weapon has been unearthed and he sends the incredibly slow mechs to recover it? Really? With an item that important you’d think Mumm-Ra would be on the scene immediately to recover it.

And I didn’t think the romance was too overdone, at the least with Tygra and Cheetara. At least show us every once in a while that the two are still a couple.
There were also a lot of people glad they were keeping it subtle. A bit too thick this time.

I agree, I think seeing Liono holding his own with just the sword would have been a nice culmination of how much he has learned/improved so far over the series. I hope the spirit stone isn’t becoming all powerful like the sword was in the OS, with a mind of its own.
The kittens are more than capable of looking after themselves, they managed in the slums in Thundera. And I guess they figured the kittens would be safer there than storming mount plundarr.
And mumm ra will be coming large next week! I’m hoping he wins this one and gets some serious kick a**e points.
I thought it was good because we haven’t seen it in awhile. I liked the hint Pumyra had towards Lion-O too.
Well I am sure Mumm-ra will some how get his sword back.
The good thing about splitting the group up is you can spend more time developing a character or two in one episode at a time.

[li]Mount Plun-Darr was great, although it again reminded me of Snake Mountain (MOTU). It was really grim.[/li][li]The ratmen were great. Rataro’s design was superb, really close to his OS counterpart, but more imponent. And he conserved his two daggers.[/li][li]Panthro getting tired of so much romance was fun.[/li][li]Pumyra flirting… now talk about Cheetara, haters ;)[/li][li]Tygra got to use his new whip (even if not to fight). Btw, his constant skepticism despite the proofs reminds me of the Professor in “Gilligan’s Island” lol[/li][li]Young Jaga![/li][li]It was nice to see the rats had a different motivation, and a valid one in some way. Also, Ratar-o trashing Mumm-Ra was unexpected and good.[/li][li]There’s another claw shield as well.[/li][li]Good cliffhanger for the neext ep.[/li][li]Mercy was today’s lesson, I guess.[/li][li]And call me biased, but Cheetygra stole the show to me. They were brave, they were smart, they were fun, they were romantic, they kind of saved the day… and they kissed! Loved their lines (Cheetara: “you’re luck you’re cute” was hilarious, and Tygra’s “I’m right about everything”, “That’s my girl”, “If this is going to be our last moment together…”, and “as if there was any doubt” were great too).[/li][/ol]

About Lynx-o, remember he was a general. Even if he didn’t die in the invasion and the lizards didn’t kill him afterwards, I doubt they would have sold him to the rats (and even more that the rats would have bought an old, blind slave). He must be still a prisoner to the lizards, or might be tortured or forced to work for them making up attack strategies and plans.

Just…WOW!!!
I love Pumyra’s character. She’s the hot head of the group, and with good reason, but its fun to see her clash with Lion-O and the other TCats. Its also nice to see how much Lion-O has grown since the Trials (which I guess was the idea). This is the second episode that has featured Lion-O as the level headed one trying to talk another Cat out of something rash. It was also nice to once again see his idea of mercy helping them out in the end. And yes, those wondering if there was going to be some Lion-O/Pumyra shipping, there you go. To be honest, I’ve always preferred brunettes over blondes.
Ratar-O IS AWESOME!!! I loved him in the original series and they kept him almost the same in this version only a little more ruthless, and with a British accent! He was sweet, and it was so great to have the episode climax with a one on one battle between him & Lion-O. It was just great.
I liked that they did another adventure where the group splits in two and in this case, it really did make the story feel more epic and grand as we followed the paths of the two teams. I think it was wise to take the Kittens & Snarf elsewhere for this adventure, so writing them off by having them follow Tookin around was a good idea. Them not being there allowed the story to be a little darker and more intense. Last week the subplot seemed a little misplaced to me, but now its clear it was the plan to have them do something while Lion-O, Pumyra, and the rest go off on this big thing. I’m never going to question the writers of this show again because they clearly know what they are doing.
There were some great callbacks to the original series too. First of all, its obvious that they based the design of “Mount Plundarr” on the Classic Castle Plundarr, which I went nuts for. That was great, and the whole back story about the Sword of Plundarr and the Jaga/Ratilla clash was right out of “Thundercubs”. Great stuff.
And of course, how great was that cliffhanger? I want to see next week’s episode, NOW!!!

I will echo the statement that this was an awesome episode. Rataro’s henchmen guy seemed like more of a mouse than a rat and Rataro himself was really well done. The episodes lately are doing a great job at setting up the next. I can’t wait til next week. I wonder what the timeline has been though with this series. How long has it been since Thundera fell I guess is what I would like explained and how long were the cats enslaved? Lion-o and the rest just seemed to walk out of a smoldering city. I didn’t see a mass slave train. But…yeah Great GREAT show. I am loving it!
It was a very good episode. It’s on my list of favorites.
