Just back from sashaying over to the Crew of Omens blog. There are a few answers to a number of questions, including a few made by Balgus and Sir Sapphire. Pumyra is a former soldier but not a medic, Jaga is āveryā ancient, the rats came with the other animals in Mumm-Raās ship and weāll see Dobo again. All in all, very informative 
Great episode, although rushedā¦ Ratar-O was awesome!
My only complaint about the episode was really how Lion-O did not do well in Sword to Sword combatā¦Spirit Stone and power beams to save the day yet againā¦
and seriously, Pumyra = AWESOME.
Sweet!!! Very interesting! A former soldier eh?? Thatās a new one!! But would fit in with her character. But then wouldnāt she be far more deferential to GENERAL panthro?? Believe me that mentality sticks with you regardless! And also I wonder if weāll get a flashback explaining that? Was she a trooper fighting on the battlements at the fall of Thundera??

I find it rather interesting that we havenāt seen much of the stretchy arms since they premiered. Not that I miss them, because I DO NOT! But any other show that sought to harness the 6-13 demographic would have made those gimmicky arms a staple by now. That they are being downplayed here isā¦wellā¦interesting.
This! I am far from sold on the character, especially since you can slap the name Arcee or Hawkgirl or countless others on her and be hard pressed to detect any difference beyond the appearance.
Can we please get a uncle/niece dynamic between Panthro and Pumyra. Please. They can bound over some military stories. Hmm, I wonder how old you have to be to join the Thunderian military? She doesnāt look older than Lion-O, but who knows.
Ah, so the moment at the end of The Pit was just a nod to her role in the original.

I agree about Pumyra being a bit stalk, but we also got her softer more vulnerable side last episode, right?
Maybe the writers will just forget about stretchy arms. Iād love it if they gave the sword energy blast a rest too:(

Havenāt gotten around to reading all of the last 10 pages or so thatās popped up on this thread in the past few hours, but I do want to say this.
The Duelist was the best swordsman in that area. Sure. But that doesnāt mean heās the best fighter in the world. Heās only better than the people heās actually fought before. Basically random people whoās sword he liked. That doesnāt mean that Lion-O should be able to easily beat everyone else he fights. Whoās to say Ratar-O wasnāt a better fighter than the Duelist as well? I doubt theyād ever actually fought each other to see.
