LOL reminds me of “Out of Sight” where OS Tygra used his bolo to make himself and Nayda invisible and were stuck that way for a while. 
Hee-hee, are you implyng that Lion-O and Pumyra are going to become a couple? We’ll have to see about that one!

I agree. Hopefully, Bengali will be in the next episode. And it will be interesting to see if he and Pumyra know each other. 
As much as every one is wanting to see Lion-O and Pumyra get together. I think we are going see Bengali in Plun-dar and find that their is already a relationship between him and Pumyra. Leaving Lion-O out the cold again. Not that he has had much time to form any “romantic” attachments to Pumyra. I loved the Character Tookit. I do feel they spent too much time on on that side story with the Kittens trying to get their stuff back. But also since they are planing another episode with this sub plot We all probably would have been screaming at them for abandoning the kittens for so long with out this much back story as to why.
The episode wasn’t bad but I’m rather disappointed in how they made Pumyra’s personality. The whole Lion-o vs pumyra thing was just cringe-worthy in a Twilight kind of way if you know what I mean. I have to admit it is probably just mostly me having a knee-jerk reaction to how they changed her, woulda been fine if this was just a new female thundercat..
I really liked the whole dog-thing and how this adds to the lore in this episode though. That made the episode pretty enjoyable despite the pumyra disappointment.
I wasn’t very impressed with the episode…i liked most of the Pumyra stuff (still trying to get used to the voice)…but i was really bothered by Tygra’s racism…he was supposed to learn humility two episodes ago, and now he’s suddenly racist against Dogs who haven’t done anything to him? And Cheetara says nothing about this. Just like with the Lizards( being recaptured and dragged off to their deaths in NA), she just doesn’t care or she’s going to tolerate it? Could they make her more of a boring character with no importance besides the “triangle”? She could have said something smart this episode, instead of assuming the Pumyra died when there was a poster of her in town. I don’t think people leave posters of dead people around…i’m still confused about when Panthro was captured and in the Pit in the past when he was supposed to be looking for the Book?
If you don’t mind me asking, what’s so Twilight about it? I have not read the books in full, but what I get from others is that Bella needed to tell Edward to buzz off, but her feelings of glitter and sparkley love prevented that from happening;)

I agree about Tygra’s dialog this episode. Characters learn something of value one episode, only to un-learn it the next.

What do you mean she assumed Pumyra died? She assumed Pumyra survived the Fall of Thundera. Which is not necessarily obvious. I doubt every single cat lived in the city.

No I don’t agree with him:confused: I agree that his dialog in this episode is in conflict with the “lesson” he learned in Native Son. He broke the curse by letting go of his pride, but this episode we see no improvement on the empathy for ones enemy fort. Cats and dogs are natural enemies and the lizards have been at war with the Cats for years.
I don’t know the books, I’m referencing the movies, which are on the internet commenly referred to as the worst love story ever in the history of ever. He is just awkward and she has only one emotional face for every occasion, and the whole situation is just the cheapest set-up for a love story.

Oh, ok, i misunderstood because of the way it was worded and cause my eyesight’s bad at night.
I don’t think all cats and dogs are natural enemies. My dogs used to get along great with my cats. 
And the Lizards thing was explained in the pilot - Cats took all the good crops, etc. I do hope he grows up and stops being this way. It’s hard to like someone when they’re racist. No matter what prejudices you grow up believing, you have a mind of your own. He can decide to not be that way.
I don’t see how Native Son would’ve changed Tygra’s mind on certain races. He looks at certain animals and sees enemies. He’s only acting from his experiences with them. Just like Dobo was acting towards cats saying how they’re never loyal and whatnot.
Pride has nothing to do with that IMO. Pride is concerning what you think of yourself, not what you think of others.
Who says it is just prejudice (ie racism) tho? The cats and dogs have clearly interacted in the past, it’s most likely just based on their experiences and how they treat each-other. I mean the cat civilization got pretty much annihilated by the mutants and it is not like the dogs helped them..
When have they clearly interacted? As a whole group, not just Panthro and Dobo or Tygra and the random dogs we see.
And if the Thunderian cats did treat them that way i can see why they wouldn’t want to help.
As far as this show is concerned, the two are not fond of each other. The Premier, and the dialog in this episode both reference some sort of tension between dogs and cats.
As for real life experiences, cats and dogs can get along. The thing is, that’s not the way it’s being presented in this show. The dog obviously don’t think too highly of the cats, and the cats don’t like the dogs. That’s why the DoboPanthro team up was such a huge attraction. It was strange.
For example, in the beginning of this episode Wilykit and Wilykat say they hung out with dogs all the time in the slums of Thundera. So it’s not too hard to fathom the bad blood can be from experience, as it is based on the common sense knowledge cats and dogs don’t like each-other, much like “lions are the king of the jungle” has translated into lion-o being the king’s lineage over tygra or other cat-likes.
This has nothing to do with what’s being discussed above me, but probably my favorite part of this episode was Pumyra hissing. I’ve been waiting for a cat in the NS to do that for a long time.
By the way, any word on what’s happening next episode? We don’t even have the little plot synopsis we usually get before episodes yet!
Since when would get those? Have we not just been discussing cause of the title and the previews?
They’re going to mount Plunn-dar to free the slaves who are being forced by Ratar-O to search for the Sword of Plunn-dar.
Anyway remember this is still a kids show. It’s a cats vs dogs thing. Sure they can still get along in real life (and that’s totally dependent on who the particular cat and dog is), but it’s cliche that cats and dogs don’t get along.
