One of the best episodes so far imo. The big problem was that it was just to much at the same time. A two parter would have been good here i think.
Now i’m so excited about Mount Plun darr. What is Plun-Darr going to be in this show? The home for who? Or is it just a big mountain?
It’s what we want, but not in an episode that already has something huge going on. Taking focus away from Pumyra to look at the ridiculous Kittens plotline or giving Panthro an unnecessary connection to the Pit is a big missed opportunity.
I can’t believe that horrible side plotline is going to get an entire episode. If you’re going to give the Kittens a multiple episode story at least put in the effort to make it interesting. :rolleyes:
It sounds like it’s just going to be a mountain where slaves are forced to mine for something. Given the name and the upcoming episodes I’d assume the Sword of Plun-darr is under the mountain and has been since Mumm-Ra’s pyramid crashed into Third Earth.
Huh, my STEVE BLUM IS VOICING KILL IT WITH FIRE sense utterly failed me in Dobo’s introduction, then.
I don’t know whether I’m relieved or vaguely disappointed.
I enjoyed this episode. I didn’t mind the stuff with the kittens and I thought the backstory with Panthro and Dobo was interesting. I really liked Dobo’s character, and thought he was well-written.
As for Pumyra, loved her introduction! No complaints at all. 
Love this episode! The 20 minutes flew!
I never expected to see tears from Pumyra this early into her story. There’s a lot more going on all that fire and I can’t wait to see it. I have a feeling Lion-O’s going to see it before anyone else.

Okay, I liked this one, it was better than I thought. Got to learn more about Panthro, introduced a new female character, and Lion-O got to do something kind of noble. That raccoon guy was alright too.
Pumyra seemed to let go of her hatred of Lion-O a little too suddenly. It wasn’t that bad, but I would have liked it to have been a little more gradual as the fight went on. And I didn’t like how Tookit and the kittens basically ended up hurting a bunch of innocent people. Also, I feel that more time could have been taken to show Pumyra’s flashbacks instead of Panthro’s over the B plot with the Kittens. Anyone else think Mount Plundarr’s shape looks like the old Mutant castle Plundarr in the original?
Tygra’s still kind of a racist 
Pumyra’s bow functions more like a sling shot, so combined with the bolo it’s similar to Pumyra’s OS designb. Oh, and I was pleased to see Pumyra still has some medical skills, so yay.
I liked the episode quite a bit. Pumyra, in one episode, is already cooler than she ever was in the original series. I liked her motivations and she brought up some interesting points. We haven’t seen Thundera since the pilot and have no idea what became of its people. To now know that many of the Thunderians are not only captives, but sold into slavery while wondering where their king is, its easy to see where Pumyra is coming from.
My one knock on the episode was the Kittens subplot with Tooken. Its not that it wasn’t funny, but it didn’t have any resolution and felt like it only served to take time away from the Lion-O/Pumyra conflict which didn’t have too much of a resolution. Did Pumyra join the team? Is she still mad at Lion-O? I guess they could resolve all this next week, but hey.
Still a good episode though. I can’t wait to see what happens at Mt. Plundarr.
While personally I would have rather seen the Tooken subplot taken out to give more focus to Lion-O and Pumyra’s conflict I can see why they did it, it’s still a kid’s show and they needed it to break up some of the heavy drama that’s going on in the main stage. Think of it in terms of classical theater: It’s a farce, a short comical play stuffed between the acts of a longer, more dramatic production to give the audience a break. It was mildly entertaining at least and it gave the ThunderKittens something to do.
Sure they do. She gets married and wears a very nice dress to the ceremony. Character development at its finest, I tell you :eek:
Whatever happened to Tygra and Cheetara’s “relationship?” They haven’t really touched on it since “New Alliances,” are they keeping things on the down low or are they just not going to do anything one way or another for Lion-O’s sake?
Who knows? At least we know they are in love. Does not mean they have to show it everytime.
Just ugh. I don’t even like her that much, and I feel like I’m getting short changed.

I’m sure it’ll be touched upon again in upcoming episodes. For the sake of pace, it’s probably not something that’s to be touched in other episodes, just as a probable Lion-O/Pumyra relationship won’t be touched continously in every episode.
He had his hand on her shoulder for Lion-O’s fight in this episode, if that counts.
I’m a huge fan of Pumyra and Lion O getting together..but I gotta tell you ..it’s all up in the air at this point.. I saw no signs of anything in this entire episode. That doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen..but for now ..i think it’s safe to say they will most likely be good friends…and see where that goes. Which is fine with me.
First I glad this site is back. Second great episode. Love Pumyra glad to see her. I like her weapon very cool. What are the odds seeing her in a new outfit next episode.
I didn’t see anything either, though I feel like Pumyra might have idolized Lion-O in the past. She talks about how she waited for him for so long ( I stoped believing you would rescue me a long time ago Lion-O. Me, instead of the cats or something similar) and probably gave up after something severe happened. I not particularly religious, but losing someone can do that to you. It shakes your faith, and sometimes for some people, you don’t go back. It also makes some people really angry.
The part at the end with her bandageing his arm was sweet. Reminds me of Megumi and Sano (just the action, not the personalities) from Rurouni Kenshin. A remember a few times through out the anime, you would find Megumi tended to Sano’s hand. They had a love/hate relationship, though it was never explored. Just a small touch of affection;)
See how easily we all come to different conclusions? I saw no moon faced looks between them, nor do I think they were flirting with each other. Not even at the end.
Pumyra hissing at Lion-O may have been the best part of this episode. It was like the cat equivalent of F*** you!
Lion-O: I was just trying to help you
Pumyra: Hisssssssssssssssssssssss!
Lion-O: You’re a piece of work you know.
Poor kid. He can’t catch a break.

Anyway, Pumyra was a big disappointment to me. Her behavior wasn’t what I expected or wanted. I get that she was traumatized, but still. 
She’s going to get better. I personally liked her attitude because the other two females aren’t as violent.
