Well, in an interview with Matthew Mercer (Tygra), he made it seem like she would be joining them. I’m all for a new character, so the only way they can ruin it for me is if she doesn’t join. I know I don’t speak for everyone when I say that, but it seems somewhat stupid to not have her join.
they are kids who learned to survive by stealing…The kittens are thieves not hunters.. there is a difference. They are looking to the older cats like they were their parents..like any child they want to be cared for. In their eyes the group is their new family…I would like to see an episode that connects the city of riches the kittens are looking for to the main plot of the story…
I’m sorry, but if they’re that set on wanting others to take care of them they never would’ve left home in the first place. Just seemed out of character for me. They went from kids who in the flashback left own their own (when they could have stayed home and relied on their mother) to kids who didn’t want to do any work even when they were starving. Saying they were theives and not hunters is a moot point. They weren’t thieves when they first left home either, but they did what was necessary to eat.
A thief is still a hunter, especially a pickpocket, and relies on a lot of the same skills, the just don’t kill their prey (usually). Yes the forest is a different environment from the slum but many of the same survival skills still apply.
A decent episode. Nothing too shocking or revolutionary, but it was funny and cute and a little sad too. Nice to see the Wily’s origin. I was not expecting them to be farm kids, or to have siblings. Their mom must be worried sick.
I get the feeling that the twister that took the dad is the same one that blew the Petalars into the briars. I think their dad could still be alive somewhere.
I’m not denying that they’re a somewhat different set of skills. I’m saying them not even wanting to learn seemed strange to me. They’re kids who should want to know every survival tool they can learn just in case they’re left alone again. I mean when their dad was around they were practically begging to help him. Does that sound like kids who aren’t willing to work? Same with their mother. They coudn’t wait to help her out. But now they’re like “do it for me! I’m lazy!”
So, how long until the preview thread for “The Pit” goes up? 
My only complaint for this show is that it would have been far more effective earlier in the series. Yes it is filler but it is a great source of information for us. I know technically in the grand scheme of things we are still early in this series but really they needed to work harder on establishing characters before they got into the meat of the adventure telling. Other than that I loved it I think it moved the story and it was a nice break from the same old story of lets fight mutants and not really get anywhere. This episode had some great lines and some great lessons for the kids. I too believe that sometimes you have to set harsh rules and let Kids fend for themselves if you want them to grow up and 90% of the time they will be just fine and even surprise you with just how well they do.
Yeah I can’t wait for that!

They should sence they never give us one and it should be very soon.

I’m hoping so, the speculation around her has been insane based on a little love triangle and a subtle namedrop. Someone she’s one of the more popular characters in the show despite never making an appearance.
I take it as a given she’s gonna join, what else are they introducing her for?..
If we get a preview what are the chances she is not in the preview and preview pictures.
They owe us a preview after this week…
While thievery requires certain skills like hunting its not the same…the kittens are more like scavengers and gatherers…not hunters. Hunting requires more physical excursion and the commitment of taking a life even at the risk of your own in order to survive
I’d say there’s a 100% chance she won’t, but you never know…
I don’t see why she wouldn’t be in the previews since the episode revolves around her. Kaynar and Addicus were in the previews of New Alliances and they were new characters.
If I had to compare this episode to any of the classic cartoons I watched as a kid, it really reminded me of He-Man & The Masters of the Universe episode “Into the Abyss”. Its not a huge story. There is no true villain. Nothing is really on the line. The episode’s strength lies in how it handles the characters & their relationships and that is where this episode shined. True, nothing overly important happened, but the characters were strengthened and that was enough to carry the episode.
I agree with Balgus. Not once have you liked once episode. The highest i rememember you gave an episode was a 5 or 6. IF you like the old shows more (who are only good as nostalgic factor imo) then go watch those instead. As you have whined all the way from the start til episode 18 then why even bother watching it? Nothing will probably change for the better for u.
