I think they were younger in that scene, they don’t look like 12 and 9 at all.
Again, I think what we saw was neither the reality nor Tygra’s wishes, but Lion-o fears. He is prepared to be betrayed by Tygra, that’s the fear he’s entering the Astral Plane with, and the emotion will become true somehow.
I’m with Rizefall here; I think it’s pretty out of reality to think Tygra really tried to kill Lion-o lol
I agree, those wishes don’t make him evil.
And everybody here is talking like Lion-o isn’t able to have a dark side himself; we don’t know that much of their history, but we have seen Lion-o can be pretty mean towards him now that he’s 17, what makes us think he couldn’t have been like that when he was younger?
When Anet said he felt a negative vibe between the brothers, Tygra replied it was there since they were cubs… a negative vibe works in two ways, you need two for it.
And I don’t think Lion-o will banish Tygra… what right does he have to do that? Ok, he’s the lord and yada yada, but right now he governs over nothing. If anything, Tygra will show to leave the group by his own, or feel the pressure of the whole group to do it so, not only Lion-o’s.
Lion-O may not have a kingdom to rule at the moment, but the fact that he is now the king technically gives him the right to banish Tygra – though, like you, I think Tygra will make the choice to leave the group if it does come to that.
I don’t think Lion-O would banish Tygra. The only way I could see that is if Tygra nearly killed another Thundercat or something at the very least. Otherwise, I can only see Tygra willingly splitting from the group for awhile or getting seperated from Lion-O and the group.
I think what Tygra intended was to scare Lion-O some more but got lost in the moment when he went too far. He obviously knows that it was wrong but children at that age have less control than adults and can know something is wrong but can get lost in the moment and end up doing something bad.
But banish him from where? The forest? It’s outside his territory of dominance, and a king doesn’t rule outside his kingdom. What if, like the twins, Tygra says “ok, you can banish me, but I want to walk by your side if I want to”?
And then Panthro drives away with Tygra and the kittens (Cheetara obviously stays behind with Lion-O, she’s got her cheerleader position to think about, after all) and has awesome adventures with the tank, and Lion-O spends the rest of his long, loooong walk across Third Earth wondering what he did wrong.
a king is still a king no matter where they are. they’re still his subjects. if a king irl was visiting the US and one of his subjects that was with him did something bad do you think he’s not able to send him away?
as for the twins; they’re kids. what’s he gonna do to them? on the other hand if tygra refused to leave lion-o could use force. not that I think he’ll actually banish tygra, just saying he could if he wanted.
Nah, Panthro would stay with Lion-O. Tygra drove his baby without his permission so I’m expecting Panthro is a bit upset with Tygra at the moment. The kids would probably stay with most of the adults and where they feel the most secure but would feel bad about Tyra leaving.
I guess MumRa will just spin things to make them look worse, remove context and attempt to drive a wedge between them. Though Tygra could have snapped the log and then realised his mistake and saved him. Then it becomes a question of was it Tygra saving his own skin from Claudius’s rage or a genuine spurt of remorse and love for Lion-O.
and Panthro and Grune’s final battle? so no more Grune?
If MumRa has anything like the same powers as in the Original, then Grune won’t be gone for long if Panthro wins and Grune dies. Personally I could see MumRa bringing Grune as a cyborg (with a dash of MumRa magic).

That made me laugh, I wonder how far Kat will fall backwards if the gun is fired.
Tygra might decide to leave of his own accord if he loses the stone to MumRa (I tend to think MumRa getting the first stone would be a good direction to take. Otherwise it makes things too easy for Lion-O and co).
Or the Sword of Omens may make the choice for them i.e. works for Lion-O, goes to sleep for Tygra.
If Lion-O and Tygra fall out ? I don’t see that as a bad thing, it just means there is a story to be told about how those two can be reconciled and become stronger because of it. Overall I’ve liked the direction they’ve taken with the characters. My one hope is that MumRa actually gets to do more stuff in this episode (splitting brothers apart and making it easier for MumRa to get what he’s after), rather than mutter about the ancient spirits of Evil. He’s been sidelined too much for my tastes.
Lion-o will be always his king no matter where they are, that’s for sure, but he can’t ban anyone for a land he doesn’t possess. If they found Bengali and Pumyra living in the forest because they chose to, Lion-o would have no authority to tell them “leave the forest because we’re on our journey”; that land is not under the jurisdiciton of the king.
I mean, if Lion-o bans Tygra or anyone else, they can claim the forest to be their home now, and thus Lion-o will not be able to ban anyone.
Would that mean Tygra has his whip since he was a kid and he used it to saev Lion-o?
That makes me think: did he know since such an early age that he can turn invisible? If not, when was he told about it? By whom? Or is it that all tigers have that power (as it was hinted in the OS), and he knew it was in him? Because that could have been another thing he could have taunted Lion-o with: “I can turn invisible and you can’t”.
I just looked at tonight’s episode on my guide and it says “Lion-O and Tygra battle over the Spirit Stone.” I don’t remember seeing a description like this for the episode. Tygra wants the Spirit Stone for himself? I’m really looking forward to this episode, maybe more than any since the premiere.
