But with our luck it’ll be Lion-o. No offense to the writers, who are great. Though they give Lion-o far to much screen time.
But with how much focus they throw on Lion-o it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he got Cheetara. I’ll hate it, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
They could have shown us how he felt so we’d feel sympathy for him when he turns bad. Similar to what George Lucas did with Anakin Skywalker in the prequel trilogy only it doesn’t come off like it was written by a toddler.
I’ve prepared myself mentally for either outcome, bring on the show.
Y’know, small thought. Maybe it’s not actually a betrayal betrayal. Maybe it’s a betrayal of how Lion-o see’s Tygra. That could be good or bad.
personally i think they had cheetara kiss lion-o on the cheek to mess with peoples heads so they’ll be surprised when she picks tygra.
Or because Lion-o’s a show hog. Lol.
I have to go to sleep with the knowledge that while I’m sleeping, you’re all watching Thundercats. This… is… torture.
Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever felt this nervous about an episode of anything before. Brothers fighting, betrayals, final duels, love triangles ending… the fandom could explode in a couple of hours.

anywho I wonder where the talkback thread is…
I don’t intend to be rude or play as Capt.Obvious, but the majority of focus on Lion-O is obviously because he’s the main character. The story is being clear on that point.
Not to say the others don’t deserve more screentime, but I’m gonna throw in a weird example and bring the movie “Batman Returns”. I know a weird example and probably a bad one. But we all know Batman is the main character but he only had roughly 11 minutes of screen time in the entire movie as opposed to the other characters. (Correct me if I’m wrong). The movie tried to explain the penguin’s story, catwoman’s story, max shrek’s story and of course Batman/Bruce but it was confusing to figure out exactly who had the main focus since there was a lot going on.
What I’m trying to say with that as an example is, if Lion-O’s role is reduced greatly to Tygra and to show the other characters more, then what would be the point of having Lion-O around?
Tygra is a strong character and has a lot of dynamics himself, especially his recent revelation of his insecurities. But his conflicting behavior with Lion-O may make him either an anti-hero or the “Lancer”/rising villain or becoming the full fledged “Big Bad” over Mumm-Ra. Lion-O and Tygra have been in each others shadow, more so Tygra’s shadow has loomed over Lion-O, and this journey is really a test for both of them. And Tygra, I know he’s very cool and with the bad boy edge that is attractive, but Tygra has had enough attention over Lion-O.
Grune, Claudus(to a degree) and the majority of the Thunderian people.
Who did Lion-O have? Just Jaga and Snarf through his life, and his father Claudus, but he has compared Lion-O to Tygra… and recently the Wilykittens and Cheetara. Calling Cheetara a “cheerleader” is ridiculous. Lion-O may display confidence and bravado, but he has low self esteem since he knows and has had it spoken to his face even that many people don’t like or support him. so It’s quality over quantity, which Lion-O may not yet realize.
Panthro, has even showed doubts about Lion-O in previous chapters. Has he forgotten watching Lion-O losing sparring matches against Tygra as was seen in “Old Friends”? To say and want even Cheetara to ignore him over Tygra sounds a bit too much against Lion-O. Of course Lion-O shouldn’t be babied but come on give the dude a break. He went through a lot and looks like alot more with Tygra and especially with Mumm-Ra in the mix tonight.

I feel the same way. I know I’ll be annoyed if it turned out to be Lion-o, but not surprised at all. Still rooting fot the striped one though 
Ok now, your whole post is debunk to me seeing as how there are loads of shows where the main character doesn’t take up every minute of the screen time.
If this were a 13 ep show and that’s it, ok I can see it happening that way.
But it’s not, it’s already been stated to have 52 eps, so y’know. Plenty of time.
And Batman Returns is not a good example. That is a 90 minute movie, this is a as I said 52 ep show. You can’t compare the two.
But ow could he? And with what right? It’s not Lion-o’s group, it’s evdrybody’s group. I can see Lion-o asking him to leave, maybe say it as an order if you want to, maybe even the others supporting him, but Tygra wouldn’t have to do it if he doesn’t want to.

Popular example: Avatar The last Airbender. Episodes in which Aang(title character) got all the screen time were few. The writers gave Katara, Sokka and Zuko more then enough focus to keep everyone happy. As much as it was a show about Aang becoming a fully realized avatar, it was also about everyone else’s journey too. Something that imo made it highly successful. Sure tons of people hated Aang for one reason or another, but they had other characters that they wanted to see develop throughout the series run. It also had better established relationships among the center cast, even 12 episodes deep.
OK, but the OS, even when hey focused on Lion-o and he recieved a lot of screen time, gave the other TCs and villains a lot of development and screen time as well. It definitely didn’t feel like The Lion-o Show like these series.

But he didn’t gather that group together. They are together because they chose to. I now Cheetara and Tygra made that thing in the premiere where they knelt at the sword and kind of swore fidelity and loyalty, but it’s not like Lion-o said to anyone “you and you and you are coming with me in this mission”. Unlike the OS, now they all have their motives and personal agendas, although having one common objective.
To be honest, I never sat through and watched all of Avatar. But I’ll take your words for it and I know when I lost an argument. Whiskers…
