Something I find interesting from the still images. The image of Tygra and Lion-O fighting with swords where Tygra is facing us, they have identical looking swords. I find that… curious. I would have to guess that neither of them would have the real sword because I don’t think the sword could be used against either Lion-O or Tygra.
Maybe the other sword is a copy? It could be a Mumm-ra one. We know Mumm-ra probably has Plundarr so he might have been able to make a replica, or the original sword split itself so they could learn something together? The Sword is senient to an extent.
Unless the swords we’re seeing are symbols of the brothers’ rivalry.
Or there is just two cause it’s the “Astal plane”. Probably anything can happen there.
Just realized this. This is the 3rd attack on the Elephants in 4 episodes.

Hey, hey, can I talk about Grune some more? Okay.
Since I doubt the writers are going to fit ghost!Grune into the show (feels like a ghost doesn’t fit in on this Third Earth), what if Grune somehow gets stuck in the Astral Plane and is there to mess with Lion-O if he ever needs to go there again? Then he would almost be like a ghost… kinda. And Panthro and him wouldn’t be able to get at each other without Panthro going into the Astral Plane, so, tadaa! Final duel!
Don’t know why he would get stuck there in the first place, though…

2nd, I’d argue they totally would go the route of “ghost grune” later in the show, it makes sense. The writers clearly like the idea of merging technology with magic/sorcery. So, I see no reason why they won’t, in fact if I had to guess one way or the other, I’d guess at some point we will see Grune again(assuming they even kill him off friday)
Note: Just cause it’s their last battle does not mean he dies. I vote for that he does not die, i just can’t see it coming. If so it does not seem it would be so good. He has hardely done anything, and as this episode will mostly be focused on the brothers… Jesus if he would die they probably would contribute an episode to it. More backstory, more of what he has done up until now and then the final FINAL fight.
No big deal, it’s not like they remember any of it. 
I think the sword will let Lion-O use it for defense against Tygra when Tygra is the one attacking him and Lion-O has no intention of killing him.
why not? they had those tree spirits in the forrest. and remember what Panthro said? something like the problem with ghosts is that you can’t punch 'em. he said it in a matter of fact way almost like he’s encountered ghosts before.
I forgot about Panthro’s comment. But it was actually the tree spirits that made me feel like a dead-person-ghost would feel out of place. Like the tree spirits set the rule for what a ghost is in this fictional world, and you should be careful about breaking your own rules. That and Jaga not appearing as a ghost the way he did in the OS. Now he just appears to be hanging out inside the Book of Omens.
Honestly, what wouldn’t fit in the Thundercats’ universe, new or old? Seriously, the old show covered just about everything in Sci Fi & Fantasy that you can possibly imagine, and the new show, so far, has followed suit.
You have a point. But in my opinion that was one of the old show’s greatest flaws, so I’m kinda hoping the writers will limit what they put in the new show. Like, no Mexican food you have to go into outer space to get.
Edit: And to clarify why I think it was a flaw, there was just too much stuff, and only a few of those things were given any depth.
the fact that they included everything from unicorns to robot space pirates and none of it felt out of place was, to me, a big part of the magic of the show and I’d never think of it as a flaw.

Not sure why people seem so sad about what “Tygra” did. It was not him period. Very obvious. Mumm-Ra is in there, Tygra says they both know what happend and Lion-O points out that he THOUGHT it broke of himself which it of course did. Mumm-Ra is just messing with them!
Given this is NS Tygra, not OS Tygra, it would be more interesting to me if he did actually do the things we have seen in this preview. I’d like to see a redemption story and have him grow into what we expect of Tygra.
