I don´t like this. I think it isn´t good, if two “brothers” has crashs…I can understand tygra..he is older and can´t be the king and young sisters and brothers can be very noisy, but don´t between both, please… Not dispute betwenn both,about/because the noisy fermale names cheetara -.-…
The title of episode 14 is “New Alliances”, right? What if this is going to be Panthro and Grune’s final duel because Panthro manages to turn Grune from the Mumm-Ra side and he becomes an ally? An ally who doesn’t really like Lion-O and they don’t really trust, so there’s lots of tension and stuff?

It’ll probably be Mumm-Ra getting the Mutants together to take Grune’s place. Slithe is lonely, you know.
Of course it could be that Lion-O commands Tygra to leave after they emerge from the Astral Plane. Tygra then finds Lynx-O, Bengali and Pumyra wandering around. Tygra and his new team of Thundercats then bail Lion-O and co. out of a jam and all is forgiven. [SIZE=1]This can be my tiny ray of hope. ;)[/SIZE]

You still have it, that is certainly one of the possible outcomes. 
I think rays of hope are the only things we’re clinging to right now. 
I’ll echo Romanticide’s sentiments at the beginning of this thread, “I don’t like this.” sigh
But it’s all for character growth right? And working towards the resolution of their conflicts…And if the bros are going at it on their own, Mumm-Ra could just grab the stone and trap them in there or something. Then they would have the time needed to work this thing out. Because I do not see them returning and having a better relationship at this point.
One of the reasons i hope the memory is tampered with is because last week we saw Tygra at that age and he was nice and caring. And this week in this memory his face just looks…not good. At 00:52 he looks a bit scary when he’s moving that log.
I really hated Tygra’s line too.

Same here. What’s good is NO ONE knows what’s gonna happen! I don’t mind that Tygra was bad or anything, but i do like the fact that i can’t figure out what is gonna happen next.
I remember reading it in high school and I might check it out at the library.

It could refer to both scenarios since we haven’t seen many episodes with evil characters. If it’s done well, two parallel ones can make a great story.
Looking forward to this one. Looks like it’ll be interesting at the very least. I’m guessing this is going to be what J. Michael Straczynski would refer to as a “Wham!” episode, where the main story arc makes a very big advancement.
Also, love the avatar pic there, Urazz. Reminds me of a passage from a Samurai Cat story I once read where Miowara Tomokato’s nephew, Shiro, picks up a GAU-8 Avenger minigun for the first time:
"Despite the furious gunfire echoing through the room, Tomokato could hear him shrieking something about “mystical experience,” and “my little kitten mind exploding.”
Now that I think of it, I remember that I had an idea for a scene where WilyKat discovers a weapon called a Fat Man (a reference to the game Fallout 3. It’s a bazooka-like weapon that fires a football-sized nuclear bomb from a pneumatic gantry). After he fires it, resulitng in a small mushroom cloud a klick away, Tygra snatches it from him and goes, “Gimme that!”
After looking at the preview pictures again, I’m starting to wonder if Grune had to amputate Panthro’s tail because that’s where the spider bit him.
Hmm…I do wonder what happened to Panthro’s tail…There is going to be a LOT happening this episode. So hype!
And hey, what about this as a theory: Somehow it’s Tygra who ends up trapped in the astral plane? With or without Mumm-Ra, and the group has to continue on without him? It would definitely give him plenty of time to fix his issues -at least in his head- and possibly provide a segue into his mind powers?..after being there so long (until the group finds another portal or whatnot) and having to constantly battle and control his own thoughts, as a side effect, he emerges with the ability to alter other person’s minds and perceptions.

Really great to have Slythe & Grune to be shone interacting. I don’t think they’ve had any interaction yet. Its also nice to see Slythe again. He hasn’t been seen since Journey to the Tower of Omens & hasn’t had a significant role since Song of the Petalars.

Obviously a Lion-O/Tygra feud was going to be the center of this whole episode, so hopefully that is handled well. Watching Tygra fight Lion-O & The Sword of Omens with his own Sword of Omens?!?!? So either Tygra took the stone for himself and made his own weapon out of it or the mind bending powers of the realm are really nuts!

Tygra was a mean little kid, huh? Lion-O wasn’t kidding when he said Tygra had darkness in him. Jeez! That scene really reminds me of the Four Day Drop from “Thunder-Cutter”. I’m very interested in seeing how this whole Tygra/Lion-O thing plays out.

I’m almost worried that they’ll have too much going on this episode. we got Lion-O & Tygra reliving memories, the rest of the team fighting lizards, Panthro vs Grune, Panthro/Grune flashback, Lion-O /Tygra fight, Cheetara picking a bf, AND Mumm-Ra. there’s a lot happening this episode.
Well, isn’t this episode 2 parts? If it is then I don’t expect a resolution of all points in this episode alone.
They’ll probably continue it in New Alliances.

Again, I don’t think having wishes of getting rid of your borther/sister (at any cost) at an early age is enough to say a person have a “dark side”. We all have wanted it in some moment, remember it or not. I don’t think cub Lion-o was all nice and innocent himself (just that producers might not show it)…
Remember, kids are mean, and Lion-o was a kid, he might have said many times “he’s not your father” or make Tygra feel that way. But again, unless they give us a flashback, we’ll never know.
Honestly for all we know, we could get left with a massive cliffhanger, I wouldn’t put it past the writers. Nor would I mind. I mean i would, but it’d be in a good way. We shall see.
