My own guess (and I’d emphasise the word “guess”) is that when Lion-O summons the other ThunderCats with the Sword of Omens, the ThunderCat insignia will appear on those red emblems - perhaps it may also be tied-in with some sort of “rub and reveal” feature on the action figures!

I think the whole “rub and reveal” idea got started by someone thinking about where Cheetara’s logo will be and the first image of the new look of the characters. I hope there isn’t a “rub and reveal” feature for the sake of all of the Cheetara action figures that will be produced.

i went there with my classmate from uni yesterday morning without having a clue about bandai displaying the new toys here in london!
the guy there told us that liono will have a growing shield as he grows older and that the classics will only feature liono and mummra and will continue with more characters depending on sales!
i managed to take some good pictures and a video with my iphone but i dont know if i should publish them here
any questions-just ask
What about mutants? Where there any of them pictured? I noticed on the card back there were 12 spots lists…any ideas who the 12 would be?

Now we know what the goodies look like and what we are getting we all now have to wait til New York on the 10th of Feb for the mutants.
Wonder if there is no Lynx-o now that the tank and bike have thunder lynx technology???
May be worth someone emailing a certain Mr Kenney to see if he knows when the cartoon will be out to get a better idea of when the figures will be out.
I think the ones on display will be the starting ones(like the 8 back cards in the 80s?) of the series and more as the cartoon continues…JUST HOPE THE CARTOON DOESN’T FLOP!!!
When you say ‘growing shield’, i reckon you are talking about his Claw, rather than a plain shield. At least i hope so, otherwise i wouldn’t like to see Lion-o presented as Link from the Legend of Zelda.

Panthro will just have a secret eye technique that occures in members of the Uchiha Clan, it’s called Mangekyo Sharingan and can rapidly replicate any movement or jutsu it has seen!! Oh wait, no, that’s from another anime!!
Hmmm.. That is an interesting theory… and it would make the most sense. Still. I’d prefer the logo to be on the emblem.

Ok guys , I need to know something I was watching a video on youtube and the guy in it said there were going to be classic Thundercats in a 6" scale as well as in the 8 inch. Is that true?
From what we heard the classics will be 8", while the new series figures will be 3-5" and then deluxe versions of those at 6".
So the classics will only be around 8" scale.
If theyve buffed up Panthro that much… I look forward to seeing both versions of mummra 
I just checked out the pics and the redesigns confuse my. Cheetara appears to be a bit bustier than I recall here being and her top she’s wearing is cleavage bearing. So my question is just how would she be able to run in the new costume without a wardrobe malfunction? I realize it’s a cartoon and all but any other anime I’ve seen with a costume that revealing lead to the oops I slipped conclusion. Just food for thought.

I just don’t get why they haven’t revealed official high res pics in a press release? Surely they knew folks would report on this and everyone would be wanting to see such pics?
If they were saving the reveals for New York Toyfair, then I’m unsure why they chose to reveal the brand in London, when likely enough the UK won’t see this stuff for over a year!?
I would love to see a closer pic of the playset.
wow, my jaw is still on the floor, wow, having to have sold off my original collection a year ago this makes me happy that I am given a second chance! Thank the lords of Thundera, 2011 is gonna be awesome!
