I don’t remember anything like that, but we would know for sure if Bandai came out with more ThunderCats toys.
IF the toys are selling bad, is that a reason to cancell the show? I’m not sure but it does not seem this show is BASED on the toys, rather they made the remake cause of the old show and they just made toys for it.
Today I made a research about US children TV ratings, I don’t have the data here with me but things were pretty clear.
In conclusion, ThunderCats did really well so far in terms of ratings. Not great but significantly above average. A possible cancellation of a show with such ratings would be extraordinary.
However, if it is indeed to be canceled, we should blame the toys (don’t forget, these shows work as toy commercials for the companies) or the production costs of the show itself.
Then the final question remains. Is the toys selling or not?
Not really. I’m sure sales were great up front, but it seems that most stores aren’t getting new shipments in and what they do have has been marked clearance.
The toys were advertised on TV, yet they’re not being promoted enough.
Here in London, it’s almost impossible to find them.
On two local Argos stores they only stock 4" Cheetara and 6" Panthro in big numbers but nothing else!
As for Hamleys, UK’s biggest toystore, the shelf is almost always empty but when I ask when they’ll have new stock, they reply that the demand is much higher than the supply.
Go figure…
Even though that’s just in the UK, that all sounds good 
I don’t know how good is this, but what’s for sure is that the franchise has a strong fanbase in the UK.
This all situation gives me the feeling that people want the show, the toys, everything (at least locally)… while the companies just don’t bother with it for reasons unknown.
As I previously said, the only reasons I can think that the show would be canceled would be the bad toy sells. But from what I see, of course they are bad: not enough bloody stock!
If the show is doing decently in the ratings and the toys are selling reasonably well, then it sounds like it’ll be ok. I can’t really say how well the toys are selling here stateside. There’s a Wal-Mart super center near where I live, and while the main figures themselves seem to be selling steadily, stuff like the Thunder Racers and the Tower of Omens are on clearance. On the other hand, the Thundertank, the figures and the role-playing stuff are still selling at regular price. I’m gussing the minor vehicles and the Tower went to the bargain bin because they just weren’t very good.
I doubt we’ll get a repeat of either 2002 He-Man or Sym-Bionic Titan. Everyone knows He-Man got cancelled because the toy sales were poor, thanks in no small part to Mattel’s shoddy distribution and case ratios. And Sym-Bionic Titan got cancelled because there were no toys for it to begin with.
Now, as then, it seems that the successes of these shows are based on how well the toys move. Sad that things haven’t changed much, but at least the quality of the shows are better.
So since the ratings section got blocked(for whatever reason), what was the ratings for this episode?

Cool, so does anyone know what the ratings are and how well the cats are doing against say ben 10 or other shows? Would also be interesting to know if tge new saturday slot has improved ratings?
I didn’t look for the last episode but episode 14 seemed to be doing pretty well.

That’s a drop down from episode 14 which was a 2.0/9 in K6-11. Episode 15 received a 1.6/7.
As long as we’re keeping up with Young Justice and Green Lantern I’d say we’re doing pretty well.

I don’t really watch Young Justice and Green Lantern on Saturday mornings, just ThunderCats.
Okay, so we aren’t doing Ben 10 numbers. But since we’re holding our own with Young Justice and Green Lantern, then yeah, I’d say not bad. Not bad at all! Heck, we’re doing better than Johnny Test! And we seem to be as good as or better than Level Up, for whatever that’s worth.
Incidentally, I’m just curious what the ratings are on the Hub, because I didn’t see those there. Just wondering how MLP:FiM and The Aquabats have been doing lately?
Also I’m curious to know what numbers the premieres of The Avengers and Ultimate Spider-Man got on Disney XD. Though those probably won’t be in for another week or so.
Ben 10 has had 9 seasons to accumulate a following and Green Lantern had the movie to help with viewership. As for Level Up in my limited viewing of Cartoon Network I have seen a TON of advertising for it. So for Thundercats to be doing comparable numbers without those advantages is great.
