Finally found another Glasslite figure; Panthro! And near-mint too!

And also got this great douga of the Lord of the T’Cats, from the same scene as the other one I got as seen in The Mountain

Great stuff TRG! Was the Panthro titled as Glasslite in the auction or did you have to keep an eye out on the pictures?

Thanks, man! And nope, figure was listed as bootleg

Congrats! That’s twice now you’ve pulled that off.

Awesome additions! Did you get that Glasslite Panthro from “Mercadolibre”?

Yeah, have to say I was quite full of myself when I “found” this one :sneaky Had to stay up till the auction ended, was the only bidder, got it for next to nothing; Classic eBay story :smile

Thanks! Nope, still cant figure out that site.. BUT I have a new buddy who is willing to get stuff from the Argentinian MercadoLibre.. Hope that works out!

Pretty sly pickup. Doing your homework on them is paying off!

That would be awesome if you could get someone to hook you up in Argentina. There are a number of things I would be thrilled to get from both Brazil and Argentina! South America has some very awesome Thundercats merchandise!

Happy to add another Playful figure to the collection: Tygra!

Glad to see another fine purchase! I am a fan of the Playful line as well. Although quality wise they can’t compare to LJN there is something about them that draw me in.

Tygra’s the best.

Nice pick up, TRG! :thumbsup Your eagle eyes can spot a Playful figure amongst hundreds of LJN figures on EBay.

I’ve been looking into the various Miniatures that are out there and picked up some cool stuff, including this one :

Nice acquisition, TRG! I believe that is from the hard to find “Papeleria Fracesa” miniature line. Which country did the PF toys originate from?

Another very nice piece.

I believe you are correct Wilycub. If I remember correctly I believe these are out of Argentina.

Thanks, adssse! There were so many South American companies making ThunderCats toys (Playful, Glasslite, PF, Unitoys, Macplay) that I often get confused about their exact country of origin.

Yes, adssse is 100% correct:)

And thats exactly why I’m working on a comprehensive Guide to ThunderCats Miniatures from all over the globe.

Little update on my ThunderClaw restoration; I applied the replacment stickers and I think it looks like a milion bucks!

The stickers are pretty close to the originals, though no exact reproductions. They are made of a very high quality material, almost vinyl type stuff. And they only cost GBP1!
