The Thunderclaw looks great and I am eagerly awaiting the mini guide!

I know so little about the mini figures. Didn’t even know they existed until several years ago.

Thanks! Yes, the miniature Guide is a text-only at the moment. I’ve begun taking pictures of my own collection and searching the web to complete it.

I recently got this Recording Script. It’s from Episode 74 - Mumm-Ra Lives! Part IV. I absolutly LOVE it! I keep wondering who used it during recording.

Perfection, bro.

That script is cool! Does it have any hand written notes or edits?

What an amazing piece of the cartoon to own.

Yes, it does. In one scene, one of the ThunderCats calls out a Lunataks, but the script says “Moon Demon” instead of Lunatak. Moon Demon is crossed out with pen and “Luna-Tic” is written below it.

Yeah, I’m over the moon with it! I only had a copy of a script, so this is a fantastic upgrade!

Got this Slithe recently. It has a weird colour palette that I’ve never seen before. It looks like a custom paintjob, but it isnt.

Well done on another awesome haul! You are like the “Indiana Jones” of ThunderCats! Always locating rare pieces.

I have two of those Slithes. I think it may be color fading due to sun exposure. At least that’s what I’ve always thought was the reason for the weird paint job. :biggrin

:biggrin Hahaha!

Thats awesome! Mine came from the UK, like yours I assume, maybe that’s something? I though about colour fading, maybe it like what happened to those Monkians that turn grey? I dunno, it doesnt have the usual signs of UV fading. I dont think it’s a true variant, maybe an oddity from one factory where the workers painted a relatively small batch wrong? BTW what other stuff are you hiding over there?

Cool Slithe! Is it missing the trigger?

You are absolutely right! I too got my Slithes from the UK. Maybe, as you say, it was a factory error thing. Perhaps a sealed MOC Rainbow Toys Slithe with this paint job will confirm our doubts. Now we only have to find pics of one!

I have some ThunderCats stuff and figures (nothing even remotely as impressive as yours!) but I don’t have a display space to show them all off. So I have crammed them in a cupboard. I have been meaning for years to take them out and photograph them so that I can post here, but never can manage to find the time. I’m hoping now that I can trick my nephew into doing all that hard work for me! LOL! :biggrin If only I had the “Bracelet of Power”!

Got this great LJN 3D Puzzle, complete with pretty nice box and 8-back mini-catalog!

Also finally found a Panthro with “? hook” nunchucks! Added bonus; figure turned out to be an EL stamped ThunderCat!

Very nice. Never seen that puzzle before. Or the hook nunchucks.

Cool! I still need to pickup an EL Panthro. Is there any other discernible difference to the standard figure besides the stamp?

I was aware that there were the two styles of nunchucks but never knew which was more rare or where each were released. Is there more information on them written somewhere? Did one style proceed the other?

I always thought so; I have another EL Panthro and the paintjob on that one is a bit off compared to regular Panthro’s. But this second one is not identical to the first, so… I dunno. I’ll have to inspect them a bit better and I’ll get back to you

Well, I think the 8 back catalog pictures Panthro with this version, though I don’t know if the actual 8-backs included it. I have seen plenty 14-backs with the ? hooks. I believe this one is uncommon to find.

That 3D puzzle packaging is pretty cool.

So I took a look at my childhood Panthro and realized it is a EL Panthro with the ? hooks (although sadly I broke one of the hooks when I was young). Do we know what the EL stands for?

That’s awesome! Too bad about the hook, though. Ah well, toys should be played with, right? And I have no idea what the EL stands for…

Got some cool items.. First up is a bootleg, you guys know how much I love these… He’s from Mexico and I think he’s awesome. I call him Señor Snurf. He’s actually a pretty good STAR Comics Snarf.

The next items is pretty special to me. A long time ago, in a gala.. no wait. A long time ago, when internet was just becomming a “thing”, and I was starting to become a serious collector, I saw this Collectors Case posted on a website. I though it was cool as heck. Something about that illustration resonated with me and just screamed “ThunderCats!”. I wanted it! But I never found one. Until 18 years later, aka two weeks ago, I spotted one. I felt like Ahab  It is missing it’s handle but it was also very, very cheap, so I jumped on it and I love it!

I’ve always known that this is not an official ThunderCats item. Maybe it’s even from another obscure toyline. It was not uncommon for a third party company, in this case 1986 Baroco Enterprises.inc. Greenwich, ct., to make generic things like this to cash-in on the action figure boom of the 80’s. I do strongly believe it was intended/ marketed for [use with] the ThunderCats line. I think the illustration is pretty obvious and a couple years back I could finally put my finger on the 2 images I believe to have been the inspiration for this piece:

The Cats’ Lair from the Map of Third Earth by Leonard Starr and one of the early concept drawings of Lion-O and the Sword Of Omens.
