I think Mumm-Ra’s hold on her will weaken should he force her to do something that goes against her nature such as directly harming an innocent (like a baby or a child) or forcing her to kill someone who is trapped and helpless (like she was).
Agreed and good example of something that goes against her nature and Mumm-Ra hold was starting to weakening would be when the cat slave was getting whipped at the beginning of TCoR. If Mumm-Ra’s hold on her was stronger she would have just agreed with Lion-O about sticking with his plan on how the save the slaves. But her “EMOTIONS” got the best of her.(Anyone get the feeling the whole show is about Emotions and how they bring one’s true self out?)

Pumyra isnt completely consumed by her hate. We clearly see signs that she is conflicted. This is evident in her bipolar behavior in the show. I think the real Pumyra would have forgiven LionO, but sadly, this reincarnated Pumyra is being manipulated by Mummra, who keeps feeding her with hatred. So just when we see signs of clarity in her..bam she goes back to pushing Lion o away.
The creators of the show are clearly looking at Star Wars as a template for the series. If there is a season 2 Pumyra will definitely play the role of a Darth Vader, who in the end will betray her master Mummra and join Lion O. The question is will Pumyra pay the ultimate price to save the one she loves? Or since this is a kids show, will they bring her back to life and reunite her with Lion o as an official member of the Thundercts clan?
I was rewatching this episode and Trials Part 1 + 2, and i realized both Pumyra and Lion-o are crushed to death by rocks/rubble. And i really liked how Pumyra was drawn in her flashbacks. Almost done with the Pumyra Playlist as well.
I’d like to see Dan Norton do alt costumes for her like he did for Cheetara, Tygra, and the kittens.

It would definitely be cool if they had different outfits in the second season.
I’d like Pumyra to wear something in a different color, and maybe wear something easier to fight in instead of her current costume. A new weapon would be nice too.
Well, we know now why her costume didn’t have a red jewel.
Yeah. 
I’d like her to wear a softer color, but i can’t think of how i’d like her costume to look besides some type of armour. She needs a better weapon than what she has though. Something like a [FONT=Verdana][SIZE=2]Kusarigama[/SIZE][/FONT] or Kanabō would be nice.
Yeah, but she didn’t have one in the flashback to her death either.
I wonder why then, unless she was from the Slums? We know the kittens took clothes that had them on already.
Which leads me to believe that she wasn’t a Thundercat yet. And she was just in training to become one when Thundera fell.
