That wouldn’t be paint underneath, that would be the original color of the plastic. The paint scraped off the nose and showed the actual color of the resin that the head was molded in. PRobably the same color as his hair.
After 3 weeks of checking every TRU, Target, KMart & Walmart within a 30 mile radius, the Kmart within walking distance of my home got a small shipment. Got one of everything they had minus the mini Tygra and Wilykat. The bubbles were way to damaged on those two. Also no classics.
I’ll be heading over to the west coast of Florida this weekend and will check the two Kmarts over there for what I’m missing.

I snagged the 4" deluxe Grune and Mumm-Ra at TRU today to go with the rest of the 4" figs I had gotten from Amazon. I might try to post pics tomorrow, as they’re both hiding from my wife right now. (I’m not suppose to be buying more Thundercats stuff)
Almost got the Thundertank. Maybe later.
I was suprised to see how large the Lizard figure is, I almost got him, too. I can see Bandai re-using most of his parts for when they do Slithe.
Almost got the 6" Mumm-Ra as well. It seems like that one may be more in scale with the smaller figures, since he is suppose to be so big and Hulk sized in the show.
I live in Indianapolis, IN. I have the whole 4" line (I just got Mumm-Ra today), and I got the Thundertank with Snarf as well. Sometime this weekend, I’m hoping to go to Castleton, which is north of me, because from what I hear, their Toys R Us is pretty well stocked. 
Kmart in Bismarck, ND was well stocked today. Had the whole 4" line, whole 6" line, deluxe Sword of Omens and the Thundertank.
I got the Wilykit and Wilykat that were there. They one had one of each on the pegs.
I haven’t had much luck at Kmart today. 
Columbus, Ohio
TRU in Dublin (North Columbus) HAD almost everything… Down to 4" Lion-Os (like 10 of them) and the Deluxe 4" figs. A few 6" Panthros left, all 3 mini vehicles and BOTH Lion-O and Tygra Classics.
Again, KMART in East Columbus/Reynoldsburg HAS them STILL in back, not on shelves, but they SAY they have EVERY item EXCEPT the Thundertank in-stock. But you HAVE to ask to see them! Its how I got Cheetara.
Nothing in RI yet. I keep checking the Walmart, Target, and the one and only KMart and nothing TRU still has nothing. GAH! I dont even want that many! Just classic Tygra and Lion-o really x_x
An update for those in the Chicagoland area. The TRU in Joliet was cleaned out of classics, only two Tygras remain. They have pretty much everything else in small quantitys.
The TRU in Woodridge / Darien has everything as of this morning, including the classics Lion-o.
Thundercat’s Found In Augusta, GA
Been Looking for them for a good bit like everyone else. Found them today at my local Toy’s R Us they only had 9 of the 6inch figure’s 5 were only on the shelf the guy had told me. So I got 2 of the 6inch Lion-O. Another good sign my local walmart has the cap set up with the price stickers and all I think they are going to be set out by in the morning I hope. Going to go by before I go to work in the morning. So happy to finally find them:thumbsup:
Me too. I got my Classics figures in the mail today, and stopped by a TRU and found EVERYTHING except for the claw shield and Tower of Omens playset.
I could only afford the 6 inch figures and the 4 inch Mumm-Ra though. I’ll go back for the rest later.
Yeah, apparently they haven’t hit Maryland yet. Kmart at Perring Plaza was a goose-egg.
On the other hand, I saw that they were carrying an exclusive reissue of the the B-Wing fighter from Return of the Jedi. So I’d say the trip wasn’t completely fruitless.
Called Toys R Us in Clarksburg, WV this morning (it’s one of like two in the state, and far closer than the Charleston one being only about 45 min away from where I live) and they said they had them in.
I figured that we’d have a good selection, being that when we called on Wednesday they hadn’t gotten them in yet.
So we got there around 11 and they’d already been pretty well picked over. Looks like someone in the area raided it first. D’oh!
K-Mart didn’t have any, and on Wednesday they said they’d have them on the shelves “by Saturday.” Neither did Wal-Mart, although Wal-Mart had a big section in their action figure display cleared off that I’m hoping is meant for Thundercats soon.
I’ve been checking the western Virginia area for a while. 3 Wal-Marts, 2 K-Marts, and 2 Targets. And nothing yet…
Target website now lists 6" Lion-O and Mumm-Ra.
Hey, I’m new to the site. Glad to find a site like this for my favorite childhood cartoon.
Anyway, In Columbus, Ohio as someone stated all TRU seem to have them. Sawmill Rd. has the best stock. I was there on Wed. at 10 am when they opened and got everything right before they hit the shelves. I left and there were still people grabbing them up.
Went back today for something else and expected the shelves to be empty, but they still had quite a bit on the shelves. Hamilton Road has been wiped clean except for Mum-Ra and a 6 inch Panthro and Lion-O.
The department head at Walmart in Reynoldsburg said that they would be out by this wekend.
The lady at K-Mart in Reynoldsburg seemed to want me to give her money to go check in the back. She said, “yeah those things are in high demand, one guy even gave me a twenty to go open a case for him”. I then said well can you go check for me, and she said "I’m sorry honey, I’m really busy right now " and she gave me a funny look.
The 4 and 6 inch, deluxe sword and thundertank have been sighted in various K-MArts in PR. No sign of them carrying the Classics. =/
Correct. There has been zero sightings of the classics outside of TRU, I wonder if they had a say in distribution quantitys of the first batch, basically getting them all for themselves.
Still nothing in RI…pray for me XD

TRU Near me has the Thundertank, the claw sheild, the lil sword, and the delux sword but THATS IT. The guy said Tuesday should be the rest of the stuff and to come early seeing other people have been in asking…

The tank rocks! Sadly there’s only room for the drive and whoever you can stuff in the back compartment.
And I wish that the tank had different voices for whoever was driving, but there’s only one generic sounding voice…sounds like the guy was trying to imitate Larry Kenny.
I have Panthro driving right now, and Snarf fits great in the back. I know that the other two vehicles attach to the side so Lion-O and Tygra have a place to fit, so sadly that just leaves Cheetara and the Twins out in the dust, lol. Actually I bet the twins could fit in the back too. So yeah, that just leaves Cheetara.
