I’m Sepphara AKA Snowtygra AKA Corliss. I’ve been in the fandom for a while but went into hiding. I got busy with life in a big ol rush and just hadnt had the time do do anything. BUT now that things have simmered down (ha ha) and I dont seem to be the only T-cat fan still lingering out there, figured I’d join up and say Heeeey.
Uh, bit about me. My -real- name is Chelsea, I’m 25, married, and work full time as a Dog Trainer. Been doing that for about 7 years now and it takes up alot of my energy. Haha. I personaly have two dogs Gavin a Bernese Mountain Dog who weighs in at around 129 pounds, and Ernie an adopted Chiuhuaua who weighs about 4 pounds…quite the odd couple. I also have two cats that I hate, a rat, and a huge fishtank brimming with reject fish. Meaning they are missing eyes, fins, ect ect. Ahem. Crazy animals aside, I’m interested in cartoons of course, good movies, music, and Role Playing. Currently watching Scrubs all of the seasons (thank you Netflixs) Dexter, and seeing I found ALL of thundercats on DVD for just $20 bucks a set at Newbury Comics, Thundercats. As for music currently digging 30 Seconds to mars, Placebo, and Muse.
My interest in Thundercats goes WAY back to at least 1990, where then it grew into an obsession. Ebay came along and there went my allowance. I have a collection of stuff but sadly its in storage atm. My first ever RP character I created was a Thundercat. I still play her to this day and ALWAYS love new people to RP THundercats with (Hint Hint hint). I do artwork as well, and have a few OLD drawings of the gal.
Favorite character is Tygra (So smexy.) and of course Mumm-ra. I dig evil.

Yes of course another Tygra fan. He was -the- best, and looks to be the best in the new series as well. =D
Hah, yea it can be quite the sight at times. But the funny thing is the lil guy Ernie is the Alpha when it comes to the dogs. He just has to glare at Gavin and Gavin sulks and pouts. Gavin is a very gentle dog and plays with my pet rat as well, if anything he may just bump the lil guy and get a barking at for it.
Its always hysterical when we go out with the boys on Saturdays to the petstores and Tractor Supply store. We always get stopped, the dogs get lovings, and most of the time cellphone pictures are taken. haha. They are quite the odd couple.
Oh forgot to mention I do costumes as well. As a side hobby and income of course. Here’s me in some of my cossies.
Because he is the best character of course! I think its because he has the most persoanlity out of any of the characters but just dosnt show it. If..that makes sense. But yea. Tygra gets my fangirl squee.
Aw thanks darlin! My costume for this year is of Course Cheetarah, its a WIP still and just in the sketch form at the moment. I’m doing the classic because thats what everyone knows and loves, but with some -better- clothing then the bathing suit…and you have NO idea how hard it is to find a good yellow/blonde wig..
Hah, well the fangirl squee was for me. I know alot of Gents love the striped one too. He wasnt always my fav however, Bengali was it for quite some time because I loved how raw he was.
Well in the interview on the DVD, the voice actor said he chose to make Tygra’s voice sound like a “man’s man.” However he seems to attract all the ladies with it.
The thing I like about Tygra is he seems to be the ThunderCat who stands out the most to me as the one who would be the most threatening and dangerous but he’s got his emotions under control which displays his wisdom. I always had the thought that Tygra might very well have a painful past but he’s the last person to ever talk about it because he never really shows any vulnerability. He relies on his strength and his ability to focus on the present and future.
I wasn’t familiar with Bengali until recently and still don’t know much about him yet. Tygra was always the most appealing to me in that “intellectual with a hidden wild side” kind of way.
Very interesting back story Sepphara, i am very touched by your love for dogs. Recently i had a very bad incident where a ‘good’ neighbor poisoned my 6 months old dog, Bonny. My puppy couldn’t make it, the vet did whatever was possible but after a while she died on my hands. It was a homeless dog which i decided to take in. Bonny was the smartest and kindest animal i have ever seen. Her eyes emanated a sad and at the same time gentle aura.
And out of the blue, a sick man decided to murder a harmless dog without any substantial reason..Anyway i am moving past that.

I’m so sorry to hear about your Bonny, Lordore. People like that can be dangerous to humans, too, I hope you’re being vigilant. There’s no excuse for such behavior.

I am so sorry to hear about that. Just recently I heard about a woman abusing and posioning two dogs in the town I used to live in. Makes me sick. Even when I work with aggressive dogs (They are the most fun at times haha) I still never blame the animal for how it is. Or get upset with them.
Yea my pack has Gavin the BMD who has OCD with licking himself on his haunch. He always is sporting a bald spot. Ernie has a collapsed treakia or however the hell that is spelled so he is always coughing, honking and hacking. AT-AT the kitten is a polydact and has food allergies to the point that he is bald, and Squishy is missing her two front fangs. The rat Bob was abandoned in a pet store in a dog crate.
I am a sucker for animals.
Anyways yes. ALL those reasons and above for Tygra kicking butt. I’m really suprised so many people are huge fans of him too. You’d think more would like Panthro just for brawn and strength and tech, but lil soft spoken Tygra seems to have the biggest following. Score!
But so far from what I’ve seen on this forum (thats active omg yay) I’m loving it. Yea’ll are sweeties <3

As I see it, Tygra is a very polarizing character. He’s one of the TCs with the biggest number of fans, but he’s also one of TCs that many people considered lame and dull in the old series. It’s a love him or hate him with Tygra.
I always liked him, and it mde me amd that many people said he was boring and lame. So I’m surprised as well to see how many people also seem to like him.
Makes one wonder what the new Tygra is going to be like. So far from the sneak peeks he seems a bit more c.o.c.k.y. Smirking in alot of the animation shots. Lets hope that they do our striped boy justice!
