I missed the First Five minutes so I am going to wait till it repeats at 10:30 Central. Really surprised it is so quiet here right now. I guess We’re all into the Episode so no posting. Which I guess is a good thing.
I must say this was a good episode. I love how the new series is setting up cliffhanger endings, which is something the old series didn’t do. Wilykit and the elephants defeated the rock giant in a very clever way. Also, once again, SAMOFLANGE!!!
Although I thought the episode was short, it had a very good moral to the story. I give it a 8.5/10. Any who, why were you disappointed in that episode?
I disagree. absolutely loved the race at the beginning (had a big grin on my face the whole first 5 minutes) and lion-o learned a lesson he badly needed (though it seemed Kit got a bit more from the elephants). tell you one thing though this show, so far, is in bad need of more of the OS’s villains. there is a severe lack of awesome bad guys. we haven’t even had a passing mention of mumm-ra in the last 3 episodes. i think the show needs to back off on some of the light-heartedness and get back a little more of the seriousness the premiere promised. and introduce more memorable villains because the villains are just as important (if not more so) as the heroes.
villain was terrible…(2 minute rock giant…why didn’t he rebuild himself after the flute attack like had just done 30 seconds prior?)
no time for an intro (or proper ending for that matter) but there is time for a long ass percussion and woodwind song
no revelation, no plot development, just cliche lesson learned lion o…how many times is lion o going to tell us “thats not the way thundercats handle things” just to be proved wrong…why no more episodes like the first two or legacy???
i love thundercats, and i pray to god its successful, but this episode was really boring
Did I hear Lion-O use the Sword without saying “ThunderCats…” first? I thought they had to change the original wording. Also cool how the claws shot out of the clawshield.
Anyways, I found this episode okay but not one of the best ones so far. I’d rate it just ahead of Ramlak Rising in my opinion. It just felt like it was just floundering and not really going anywhere this episode and it felt like it didn’t accomplish much.
Okay, I think I know where the stone actually is. I think it’s hidden in the Astral Plane, which is the title of an upcoming two parter. The Eye of Thundera wasn’t wrong, it just wasn’t showing the whole picture, at least not yet. Lion-O became more connected to the Sword of Omens by the end, and was able to see more, but not the whole thing. I think that this is the beginning of a new arc, and by the end Lion-O will have mastered Sight Beyond Sight.
Anyway, I thought it was an okay episode. Not great, but it’s got things rolling.
