I’d be happy if they made Tygra more zen and less jerk. This guy is really getting on my nerves, make him grow up or get him less screen time. but that’s just me. (Tygra fans don’t kill me, I’m a fan of Tygra too, but the old Tygra, sorry)
maybe even a dimentional cross, 80’s Thundercats and 2011 Thundercats.

Any less screen time and he wont be on the show, LOL. I think that’s a lot of the problem now. The writers didnt spend enough time developing the other characters and so now they seem one dimensional.
You want him to get even less screen time? 
Well, that is his basis. I think what we’ll see is an eventual evolution to the original.
I hope so, Lion O is getting very close to a modernized version of the original. Cheetara has also grown and matured, the Kits were close to the Kits to begin with and Panthro… heck Panthro’s always been Panthro. but Tygra hasn’t really changed or learned much of anything in my opinion. He’s the opinionated stubborn whiny prince he was in the first ep.
I’m expecting it to be like most real life cat groups, Lion O is going to have to fight him and win, to put him in his place before Tygra can truely grow. His biggest problem I see is Tygra still thinks he is the one that should be leading and holding the sword. Until he lets that go, he’s going to bring himself down, and I fear he’ll be taking Cheetara with him. 
We don’t know how Tygra thinks/feels about being the Lord and holding the sword now that thy came put of the Astral Plane. He could have realized there that it was not for him, not his place, but of course we didn’t see it as we see no insight from him in the show, unless it is Cheetara-related.
First bold…what has Cheetara grown from? Where’s her starting point? If the flashback counts…then it was all off screen and would really feel like a cop-out. And Lion-O…he’s growing slowly, but surely, and we see/saw his starting point. He just needs time…and for someone to fix that memory problem for him Because lessons he learned weeks ago, he seems to have trouble recalling and putting into practice at times.
Second bold. Uh…yeah. I thought this was a given? I think that will be a part of Tygra’s growth process. Does Tygra need that to start growing? No, he’s already started. He’s got a long way to go, just as Lion-O has a long way to go in his own maturity.
I would like to see an episode, “King for a Day”, where Lion-O is gone or otherwise indisposed and Tygra has to run the roost and make the leadership decisions in a crisis scenario.
Would be a good opportunity to fill out his character - give him what he wants and see what happens. Or doesn’t happen. I think it would be interesting to put pressure on his character and see if he can live up to his own expectations, and it might give him some insight as to his brother’s struggles.
+1 on the first bold. How is Cheetara any different from her portrayal in the premier? She’s still the same generic wisdom speaking totem pole with almost no personality.
I actually think she had more going for her as a child. She’s a little bland as of now.
I think there needs to be:
-More on the kids, like how they ended up on the streets. What happened to their parents?
-What happened to Panthro between the time that Grune betrayed him and finding the rest of the TCs? Most importantly, where’d the tank come from? (I don’t recall hearing anything about where it came from)
-Getting into Tygra’s head. The guy has lost two sets of parents…that tends to get to someone emotionally and psychologically.
-Explore the TyChee relationship, but in a way where they’re not rubbing it in Lion-O’s face (that’d be mean). Let them have a stolen moment here and there.
-I want to see more of Cheetara’s past. What came before joining the Clerics? how did the Clerics shape her in to who she is now?
-I’d like to see a romance for Lion-O…so enter Pumyra. Although, I don’t want it to happen right away. They have to be friends first, because Lion-O is still reeling from the Cheetara thing. The romance can happen slowly.
-Warrior Maidens.
Not to step on any OS fan’s toes, but I would love if the WM were re-imaged as a pack of Lionesses. Like Amazons or something. A Completely matriarchal society or something.
That would be an interesting take on them. With this version of the show we never know what we’re gonna get.
There was an episode like that in Dungeons & Dragons, where Eric took Hank’s role while he was missing. And even more, there was an ep where Eric was made Dungeon Master for a day. It’d be interesting to see (but we know we’ll never see that happen :()
I insist: I’d like Pumyra to be a WM. So they’re not necesarily lionesses, but female cats for sure (pumas, lionesses, tigeresses, cheetas, etc).
actually see Pumyra ending up a traveling healer, remember that was her primary role in the old show. She was the medic. Depending on who they pair her with, Tygra, Lion O, Panthro, the one for her gets injured and seperated from the group, Pumyra finds them and nurses them back to health for a shipper moment.
Would be Lion O’s luck too if it does turn out to be Tygra. he gets stuck seeing two beautiful fem cats fighting over his elder brother…

Haha! Whiskers indeed. I hope no competition comes between the couple though. Some insecurities, sure. But after this whole debacle now, I’d rather not have another repeat. But the romance shouldn’t be getting a huge focus anyway.

I took a look at it and now I want to go over some episodes again just to check out the references. 
I don’t see this happening at all. Part of the Warrior Maidens’ allure was that they were among the VERY few Humans who still existed on 3rd Earth. (at least that we were shown) Changing that takes away what made them special in the first place and I can’t imagine they’d want to change that. We’ll see though, I suppose. I’m up for anything!

@ Felonius Monk and Tygra_Rules: I definitely like that idea of having the roles reversed, and I’m pretty sure it’ll come to fruition at some point, mostly because after that at the least Tygra will understand his brother better and then support him even more.
I’d like to think Tygra would be a capable/competent leader (dunno, they could surprise us; I’m calling this scenario given for now) but that he doubts himself the entire way- thus relating with Lion-O - and realizes he really doesn’t want the responsibility of making huge decisions for everyone, that his choice could mean life or death for people he treasures. And then Lion-O pops up a la Zoro (“Why did you guys get lost?”) and Tygra is so relieved; as if he didn’t appreciate his ‘freedom’ until he lost it and in the end he says, “You enjoy that little brother ;).” And Lion-O and co are like :eek:.
I prefer to see a character learn or realize things independently, and not always have the lesson forced on them (what I really liked about Lion-O in Forest of Magi Oar), it means they use their brain. A couple hard knocks I can appreciate, with a number of small wake-ups in between. Constant hard-knocks signifies to me, I’ve got an idiot on my hands. :sneaky: Lion-O…
