Sooo I thought it might be nice to have an official thread to talk about expectations for the upcoming episodes, particularly with the hiatus in mind. So yeah, those thoughts and ideas can go here. Have at it 
- Hoping for more baddies to join the Frey.
- Maybe a kidnapping or two. Just for fun..

Wow! All that went down in he original? (4/10) Iām so-so on humans showing up. Once we get the development we want I wonāt care, but until then, Iād like for them to take it easy on new recurring characters. I agree with you on everything else tho, esp number 8. I want to take Mumm-Ra seriously. He destroyed the kingdom in one night, and now heās just kindaā¦making things harder for themā¦but they get it done anyway. He seems to have lost that real danger and threat feeling I felt in the beginning. And there must always be a kidnapping or mortal injury etc. tho Panthro may have that covered. Who do you think is most likely to get taken?
I would really like Tygra to get kidnapped. Kids to easy, snarf well its snarf, Cheetara the Broās would be trying to one up each other, and Panthro is just well to tough to be kidnapped.
I think if MummRa kidnapped stripes it would be a one up on his part, and maybe it would tone down the angry tiger. Because his brother would have to save him and show he is powerful in his own right.
Oh so many possibilitiesā¦I see it now. Tygra n Cheetara having a private dinner by the lake, MummRaās baddies showing up. Tygra sacrificing himself to save his love from being killed by going away with them. Cheetara awakes from a blow to the head then runs to Lion-o to beg for his safe return. Lion-o struggling with his feelings..Well it can be built off of in so many ways.

I cant see Cheetara begging Lion-O to rescue him. I could see her being adamant about rescuing Tygra together. THUNDERCATS-HOOOOOOOOOOO
I donāt ever remember Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha having a romantic dinner by the lake.
I know the begging was a stretch in her personality but she would run n tell.
I can imagine tygras reaction to cheetara running to lion-o to save him.
That is why I didnt high light that part of it. I bolded the part about the hit to the back of the head and so on:thumbsup:

Iād like Tygra to be kidnapped as well. And then Iād like Cheetara to be all furious and āGIVE ME BACK MY MAN, YOU FIENDS!!!ā and swoop in to save him like a badass. Ending with Tygra swooning in her strong, capable arms, of course.
That idea is WIN!!! Ya donāt mess with stripes and spots Mummra!

What would be the problem with that? They are all friends and in service of the king like she has said many times.
Just top this talk about them three not getting along and one is ātraitorā stuff already.
am i the only one that would rather see lion-o get kidnapped? because of being reckless again. and not by mumm-ra but someone else who would leave the sword behind.
so tygra finally has his chance. heās got the sword and heās leading the group in the rescue missionā¦only the sword isnāt working as well for him as it does for lion-o and leading the team is a lot harder than expected. meanwhile lion-o has time alone to think about how he should listen to the otherās advice while he plans his own escape.
and after lion-o frees himself and everyone is safe again tygra gives the sword back realising lion-o is the true lord of the thundercats.
Hereās what I want out of Season 2:

The Rest of the Mutants = We got Slythe,and we got to see their ancestors in āLegacyā but I need to see Jackalman, Monkian, Vultureman, and hopefully Ratar-O. Hopefully we get them in Season 2.

More explanations about the Stonesā Powers & Mumm-Raās abilities = Something I have to ask is why doesnāt Mumm-Ra just stay in his everliving form all the time? In the old series, it was explained that his powers are limited and his must recharge every so often so he canāt stay ultra powered forever. That hasnāt been explored in this show though. Do the Stones help Mumm-Ra maintain his full power & keep the Everliving form forever? That seemed to be the implication in Legacy, but its not directly stated. Also, what role to the ASOE play in Mumm-Raās powers in this series? Again, I donāt want a full back story on Mumm-Ra because with some characters, its more fun if we donāt know everything and the less we know, the more intriguing the character is (Boba Fett, Michael Myers, & the like were all so much better when we knew almost nothing about them), but a few more explanations of how stuff works regarding his powers would be nice.

Lion-Oās Trials = Oh yeah, I saw those the episode titles for that. That needs to happen and I would love for it to be staged like the original series where Lion-O has to go through the T-Cats without the Sword of Omens. That way he can finally best Tygra and prove his worth.
I like this better, having Lion-o kidnapped. Mainly for two reasons:
a) it would bring the other members of the group closer as theyād have to work together to rescue their king, and give them a chance to display their abilities (I was looking for a kidnapped Lion-o epsidode in the OS, which never came -I mean, only Lion-o being kidnapped and the others saving him, becuase he was kidnapped in, for example, āSnarf tTakes the Cahllengeā and some others, so I hope to see it this time lol).
b) I donāt want Tygra being the kidnapped one. It would be too OS (come on, he got a lot of that back then lol), and also, I donāt want Lion-o bragging about saving his tail and gloating on it.
What I alsoād like to see:

Warrior Maidens. As Iāve said, they donāt have to behumans;I like the idea of Pumyra living among them.

The other Mutants.

A Grune comeback (although it more likely happen by season 3, if it happens at all)

They find another Stone.
That would work much better for story and character development. I mainly want Tygra to get kidnapped because I want Cheetara to go āRhaaar, donāt touch my man!ā. Iām shallow like that
As for other things I want to see:
-Grune. Possibly at the end of the season, and then having him as a recurring character again in season 3.
-The story of how Panthro lost his tail.
-More focus on Tygraās positive sides so his haters might hate him a little less.
-For some of Lion-Oās negative sides to be highlighted. He has them, but the show never really talks about them. And I mean some really negative sides, not just having trouble seeing the whole picture or needing to learn to show patience. I think it would be interesting to see them explored.
-An episode where Lion-O is mostly or completely absent and we get to see the others do stuff and interact with each other.
-A Snarf episode. Not a Snarf solo episode, but an episode where Snarfās point of view is the main point of view.
That would be great. Iād just like to see Lion-O get out of a tough spot without the aid of the sword. The Sword of Omens shouldnāt work for Tygra at all, just to reinforce the idea that Lion-O is the only one capable of wielding it. The group getting Lion-O back and Tygra having to hand the sword back would be a great moment for the brother story arc.
In Season 2 Iād really like to see an episode where the adult cats go off similar to how they did in āOld Friendsā leaving the Kittens and Snarf alone in the Thundertank. Eventually the mutants or just a random creature could attack and the Kittens and Snarf would have to work together to survive. Itād be Kat centric, giving him his first episode of the series.
Run with itā¦straight to the writers;). I want everything up here; it all sounds good to me. I even want both of them to be taken individually (or together, WHAT A DYNAMIC DUO THEY WOULD BE!) at some point, with completely different circumstances surrounding it. Or it could be Mumm-Ra both times, but for him to do the same thing twice ā¦ eh. (We need a shrugging emoticon) I think it would be hilarious though, if somebody was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, and somehow it just got worse (baddie figures who they are, turns em to Mumm-Ra or someone else that hates them).
And @ Cappuciono: Yeah I got this lil feeling that Cheetara will be absolutely vicious to anyone endangering Tygra, besides the fact that he can usually take care of himself. That small corner in her mind screaming, āThis is the one thing I have and you cannot take it!ā 
And then Tygra swoons/drools.
