considering Lion-o and Tygras sibling rivalry, one of them being captured .and the other rescuing him would either make them closer or make the one being rescued more resentful. I’m hoping for the former.
They’ve got to get closer, if either of them is to finish the character arcs that have been established. And I think it would have to have some sense of urgency pushing it. Because where they are right now, I see both of the bros kinda dragging their feet to save the other.
But that may just be me.??
And I want a noble sacrifice somewhere! Of course, somehow said sacrifice doesn’t die, but still I want to see a moment where the only thing one of them is focused on, is the safety/success of the other.
I honestly didn’t know Lion-O would be facing the TC w/o the sword in his Trials (tho it wouldn’t work against them anyway). That will be very good. In what order do you think he’ll face them? Did/Will he face anyone else at the end?
Well,in the OC Tygra was the final Thundercat Lion-o faced. Considering the relationship between the 2 in the new series I think that would be fitting to do again.
in the OS the final trial was against mumm-ra. though i doubt that’ll be in this version if he can’t use the sword because as things stand right now he wouldn’t stand a chance.
Ah, but I said tygra was the final THUNDERCAT lion-o faced not final opponent. But I agree lion-o can’t face mumm-ra , he’s not ready yet.
Maybe just maybe the Trails of Lion-o will be different this time. This time around he may not go up against the T-Cats like in the original. Something different may be better than a rehash of the original. But you know he is gonna have that screen time he likes to exploit so much.

Except not. I want to see something with that old crew! I would be so satisfied if just one ep a season went to discovering more of the past, and how they got to where they are, or maybe it’s a parallel story? How many cats died when they crashed?

Maybe through the Book of Omens he would face the trials of Kings past. What previous Kings before him had to handle and make decisions to make a better outcome.

I think Lion-O will be a little ****y for the first few and then he will have his lesson of the day and grow into accepting the way things are going.
Does anyone have a link to the production blog stating that Pumyra would have LOTS of screen time? If thats true then I do think a romance between Lion-O and Pumyra will be on its way. Lots of episodes ? Lets not forget whose show this is;)

Maybe this time the trials won’t be about beating the other TCs, but Lion-o will have to prove his abilities in other ways.
I hope so. It feels too early for him to surpass all of the others this soon.

Maybe the other TCs will be there to make the trials harder and try to stop him (like stones on the road lol), but not be actually competing against him.
