That’s not true. When you pick up the item (s) you have to present ID and the credit card originally used on MattyCollector to buy the exclusive. Somebody CANNOT pick up YOUR purchase up for you. It has to be the actual person who paid for the items.
Matty usually puts the exclusives up for sale anyway around the end of July - early August for those who can’t attend the show in person 
Gee.. with the amount of Barbie-styled figures announced lately.. She-Ra, Star Trek and a good chunk of other SDCC exclusives, what if it’s not even an action figure but a super articulated Lion-o doll to complement She-Ra. The whole Hot Toys thing seems to influencing the entire industry.. just a thought. I still think they will launch with a Lion-o.. this is the figure that will get mass press coverage, why would you do a character that isn’t instantly recognizable? So Hot Toy/Barbie influenced by 4H or a Lion-o repaint is my bet.
I guess no one will be paying for my trip to California to collect the exclusives for them LOL.
Matty SDCC exclusives are usually something that they can go the extra mile on because the SDCC item gets it’s own budget. So I expect something with new tooling or maybe even a 100% newly tooled item.
Very much doubt it will be a simple repaint
just been on the matty site there is a lot of people that are not happy about the lack of news over the sdcc exclusive . i just hope it is something that we all will be wow’d by

great place to visit . disney world florida for me next year i’am more excited than my wife an kids
Disney would be cool, and some of the other tourist stuff but main purpose is visiting friends and doing some hiking and taking picture in the forests and mountains and seeing some beaches. 
its a great place for all the thing you want to see and do . hiking forests and mountains yosmite as it all by far the most beautiful place i’ve ever visited . your’ll have a blast :thumbsup
There is also a lot of vintage toys shops in Culver City so that will have to be visited on the way.
we drove through culver city on our way to santa monica . didn’t stop tho :frown
There is a big place called Frank and Sons that is supposed to be great for vintage and current toys.
