It really isn’t. I’ve watched every episode of the old series at least 3 times and I watch every new episode as soon as it airs.

I think he wanted her because she was basically the only female cat around his age. Plus, she flirted with him a lot. So, when she and Tygra hooked up, I think he was pretty much already like that. Back on topic, I think he’ll definitely try something with Pumyra.

i would call the uber romantics the “extreme shippers”…not extreme fans…But lets be real here…if we want season 2 of this show we need both and then some.
If you saw the thread with Matt Mercer answering ThunderCats rumors (too lazy to post a link), he said that it is going to have a second season, but they haven’t produced the episodes yet. The whole rumor with it being cancelled was mainly because of a list of shows on CN that were 100% confirmed and ready to be released later this year. Just because the episodes haven’t been made yet doesn’t mean it’s cancelled.
He also stated that the shows ratings are doing very well, and the numbers show it because it beats out several other very popular cartoons on CN. So I highly doubt we’ll need a lot more fans to bring it back for a second season (although more fans is always good. I’ve got all my friends hooked on it.)
Back to the topic, I think many people do want Pumyra to be with Lion-O…right away. I think it should be a developing thing, like most other fans. Most people who are “shippers” usually just get on my nerves.
Developing, yes, but not at a snails pace. After her premiere we still have a good chunk of episodes to develop things between them before the season ends, and I’m hoping by the season finale they get together. That way things can close on a high note.
Yes, that would seem logical, and give a few episodes for them to get to know each other.
Also this isn’t to say they shouldn’t tease the hell out of it for the rest of the season. These fanfics aren’t gonna write themselves.
Ahh, fanfics. I hope they do have a sort of Robin and Starfire thing where everyone knows they like each other more than they do themselves.
Or like Robin and Zatanna in “Young Justice” where they take an immediate liking to one another but nothing is blatantly stated.
